Stopping smoking?

Hamilton

Fifteen years today since I stopped and not even a sneaky puff or a craving in that time.

Prior to that I was a serial stopper trying to stop every couple of months and towards the end was on forty to sixty a day.

Not posting this for a gloat more just to say if anyone's trying it, it is doable!

Well done O.P

I had to stop a few years ago. I had bad asthma, ended up with pneumonia and in the morning I could hardly catch a breath. What finally made me stop was I had a ear infection it felt like something was pushing against my ear drum and the doc told me it was caused by smoking. Been on a ecig 3 years now so technically I'm cheating but all problems are now gone.

Stopping smoking must be easy. My dad did it 15 times.

Edinburgh.

I'm trying to start smoking. But it's such a hard habit to get into. I'm on patches and trying to help build that craving to help me get into it.

I was a 20 a day smoker.Had a look inside intensive care when a relative was hospitalised to be told 80% of patients there at that spicific time were smokers .Thatwas 15 years ago and I've never touched one since. Its a matter of getting your head round it first I think
