Euphemism vs real life.

Our culture is blessed (or cursed, depending on your point of view) with a veritable cornucopia of euphemisms, describing various acts.

Which have you done, both for the euphemistic target and the literal act?

For example:

Choke the chicken: euphemism yes, real life no.

Spank the monkey: yes and no (for a start, where would you find a suitably sub monkey? )

Sausage gobbling: euphemism no, real life yes (yum).

And so on.

You mean you've been passing up all those offers just because you don't like cold movies?
