Watched loads of the Olympics over last few days and to be honest it makes me proud to be British!

Have the feeling in Scotland over the past few years that this is frowned upon however I'm patriotic and a very very proud Scot!

Should be ok to be both I think! What's everyone's opinion?

I am a cross-breed, Scottish mother and English father they met in the British army so yeah I consider myself Scottish as I was born and raised here but also British. Oh and I was conceived in southend-on-sea so doesn't that technically make me an Essex girl haha

I'm proud to be an Englishman living in Scotland. I don't count myself as British as I was born in England and raised in England.

To me personally that's my identity, and very happy to have it that way.

No I will always be Scottish, not my fault we are connected to England, and we don't have our own passports, we have Scottish notes but most of England won't except it,

So how come we get moaned at because we say we are Scottish

I think you can proudly be both. When you ask an American where they come from they usually say which state first, say texas then USA. I personally class myself as a scot/brit. I'd also rather be part of the UK than the Eu but I would've wanted independent from both but that vote has been done. I do know it's not worth people getting hurt overy such things. I was Born Scottish and have always called myself Scots, but was always proud to be British as well .However i feel my Scottish sense of identity has been hi-jacked by those who wave flags and shout "yes" but like all of there ilk are not too well read .....Anyway the tide is turning on all this misguided parochial nationalism.

I am English by birth however having been raised in Scotland since age 6 months I feel more proud of Scottish achievements. That said I am also proud of being British.
