Since coming on here I have only actually met really great folk but I'm continually amazed by the judgemental tone that exists in lots of ways on here. I suppose I naively thought that this would be an area of life that was cushioned from the sort of judgement that is so prevalent in the 'vanilla' world. Disappointingly not always the case.

I had pretty much the same expectation as you coming in, and fairly quickly came to the same conclusion.

And I'm not talking here about women and couples becoming hardened to pestering and time-wasting, or men becoming bitter over lack of contact: those are negative, but understandable, reactions to the natural asymmetry of fab. There's some deeper stuff than that.

Thankfully there are plenty of lovely, non judgemental people to converse with too.

Is it really fair to say something like the site is judgemental especially in comparison to vanilla life?. Fab is nothing more than a cross section of life people have opinions folk rub folk up the wrong way. As for vanilla ive had the wildest times with what you like to call vanilla folk and turn off the light and act like a tattie sack sex on fab. If judgements bother you that much perhaps stick to the fluffy threads happy midday, snog shag avoid, facepic fri, theres seldom an opinion on there

People don't get stripped off some human nature traits just because they are on a sex, dating, swinging or social site.

Some judgements will be positive, others negative. So be it.

People will judge me based on this post... So be it, am not bothered, it is human nature.

Actually that is what I expected. What I hadn't expected was so many people telling each other their opinion (or, more, their actions) were wrong.

In a way I suppose I'm doing that now too, though I'm trying to be quite careful to say only that it isn't what I expected, rather than voice disapproval.

Hmm - that wasn't my thinking at least. I thought more: we're on site of a nature that many would disapprove of. Given that, perhaps people here would understand what it means to face disapproval. Given *that*, perhaps they would find it easier to let others have those different opinions or enjoy those different acts.

Human nature, being incognito, safe behind a screen some people are more confident to voice their opinion in a stronger and sometimes not sensitive way.

To be honest,I'm the type of person who will listen to all points of _iew that is discussed, oh I don't judge, but i find i tend to keep my opinions more or less to myself, because I don't like arguments, and tend to back away from any hassle

But I love seeing different _iews,it is what make us different and unique individuals,and i tend to argue at the screen lol when everyone is being narky at one another

Why would people on a swinging site be less judgemental than vanilla folk? We all have our own morals, opinions and experiences. To a degree we are all prejudice, some more than others, but we all have preconceived ideas about people. It's human nature. Now we can argue all day about people being judgemental and prejudiced, but I can't understand why I would be thought of as less so just because I'm a swinger.

Absolutely, my irony meter was off the scale reading certain posts on here.

For me I believe each to their own and live and let live. Gravitate towards those who share similar interests and there's mutual interest, leave those who you don't click with alone to have their own fun.

Everyone is different, has different things they are looking for and there's something and someone for everyone through the site if you act like a sane and sensible person. Or maybe folk could try random and unsolicited insults as an approach, I'm sure that will work well...

I'll get back to flicking through the catalogue too, or maybe I should just be saying "yes please" to each and every person on the site as anything else would be narrow minded and judgemental.

The ratio of male to female here and also the nature of the males means the ladies are more likely to achieve their goals than us guys. Oh and I suspect some ladies on the site don't actually meet or are here to sleep with anyone because they are getting their kicks from the chase, an ego boost if you like.
