Hi guys,

We know the festival is on, but, it's seem impossible to find reasonable accommodation for a planned Edinburgh stay on the 20th of this month.

Would any kind soul know someplace that has availability?

You'll struggle as everywhere will either be booked up or the price inflated due to the festival and lack of rooms available. Probably cheaper staying just outside and getting a taxi.

loads of towns just outside edin 20 min train puts you at waverley.

Dundee/Angus/Blackpool

It's why I've given up,but if you want to try something different, try pollock house student accommodation, which btw opens its doors to the public,I stayed for a long weekend 2 yrs back,you also get breakfast excellent choice,

Again im only going down for 1 day or twice at a different time and I had been looking for months just sort of gave up

The rooms won't have tvs but does have wifi

We're almost at the giving up stage. Student accommodation might be a last resort.

While I'm a smoker, (so accept that there would be no sexual shenanigans), I'd be happy to put you up in my comfortable flat 15 mins out of Edinburgh city centre and on a good bus route, (including night bus), on the 20th if you would be interested?

I was actually thinking about this earlier.

For the right price I'd happily give up my bedroom for a night or 2,provide bacon rolls in the morning....hell I'd even provide a taxi service if you chip in for petrol(damn sight cheaper than a taxi!)

I'd make sure my bedroom n the rest of the flat is clean with fresh bedding n whatnot,would respect your privacy n not expect any other form of payment!

I have wifi you can have access to n stay Literally right next to a bus stop a 25 min journey from the city centre if you decide not to take up the offer of my taxi service.

That's all I can think of for now.....message me for further details if anyone's interested.

The management reserves the right to say no you can't stay.......because he can!

We got a hotel booked, at an outrageous price. We've both been working long hours and the 20th is our first weekend off at the same time for 6 weeks, so what the hell! lol
