Many profiles tell you that they won't answer emails ads etc unless you send a face pic, yet they don't appear to have them themselves.

Now I don't have a face pic on here partly due to being an ugly spud and more importantly, due to the nature of my occupation. I'm happy to prove myself on webcam or even exchange pics after some conversation has taken place, but not willing to send this info to starngers at the initial inquiry stage.

Am I paranoid about protecting my idntity / job? Probably, what's everyone else's _iews on the face pics and demands?

Due to some bad experiences we no longer send face pics. We'll gladly display on MSN or go on cam, but we're not happy sending them out there.

i always ask for a face pic pretty earlie on in a convo beacuse whats the point in ping pong emails if there is no attraction ?

We don't expect or ask for pics nor send them, and we sure wouldn't send them to people who expected them wth initial contact.

We use cam to show face.

Scarlet, I can understand where you are coming from Some people on here are very blaise about there personal details. Mabe their work / family live, can allow for it, but i feel they are doing half the work of NOTW journos.

For some people being 'exposed' would make thing awkward at work etc... For some others it could cost them their job. For us it's not worth the risk while we have other options (MSN/Cam).

nope we dont send face pics as you dont know where they are gonna end up or whos gonna see them?

we have face pics in our private gallery and only accept friend invites with cpls that also have them in theirs.

dosnt stop peeps askn for an invite when they clearly havent got any tho

we like to exchange face pics early on as we like to see who we are chatting to,,,dont get the guff about oh we have professional jobs everyone has a private life and if your on here you shld be willing to show a face pic if you want 1 back?

being a knowledgeable nerd hope am no scaring anyone....but it is easy to screen grab or record anything on ur screen-software ive used but not for that purpose lol!!!

I have no pics up on my profile this time. I do have them in private gallery and will add people I have actually spoken to. I actually find having no pics up helps ease the amount of mail I get lol. I still get the "hey sexy" messages and i'm just a blank canvas

Everyone has a private life, some can be more High profile like Mr Sheridan. f your Bobby Smith the swinging self empoyedplumer,the consequences of being outed are probably less (profesionally speaking) than Miss Smith, the primary teacher.

It's just a shame that we live in a society where an enjoyment of sex can cost you your job.

We know that people can screen grab a pic - but a screen grabbed shot of a webcam or MSN display pic isn't the same as a full sized photo. Lower quality, much less likely to end up somewhere else. It's not perfect, but it's what we're comfortable with.

Kitty likes to see the guys she's talking to. That's why she goes on cam.

And if people can lose their jobs over what they have on their facebook pages...

I had someone contact me, someone who I had never met and they wanted to see my pics. When I said that they would see mine, when I saw theirs, I was accused of being a pic collector and they stormed off. Bizarre behaviour.

I'm goin on Dragons Den next week to try secure funding for my IGC file type which i reckon can replace the common JPEG in this situation. The IGC (Inspector Gadget Concept) file can be sent online like any normal image file, but self destructs 10 seconds after opening, and cannot be copied. Av heard Duncan Bannatyne is a closet swinger so reckon am in there!

one of bosses asked me in prv over a drink, at a night out if me and himself were. He was more embarrassed about asking than i was. He said it was our own business. i didnt deny it, but didnt say i was either. I merely whispered in his ear, well you know where we are if you need us, then walked away. He then went over to mr and said, you're the man! and shook his hand! Said if he wasnt with his missus he'd be doing the same as us!

Would maybe be a bit more shy with full facial "action shots" and besides they would probably take far too long to photoshop them into shape. I mean do you know how long it takes to photoshop a six pack, i'd be as well doing the situps
