I have never attended but I'm very curious. I hear good and bad things about this place... So what's the deal?

I'd like to go but I wouldn't know where to start.

What to wear, how to get there, how to get in touch with others going as I wouldn't want to turn up myself

The forum is good for finding out who else is going and there are often folk getting a few drinks first in town that you could go along with

Its close enough to town that its pretty easy to get to ... You would get the actual address once you were booked in

And as for what to wear its really up to you and what you feel comfortable in ... Usually what you would wear to the pub for most people ... Some nice underwear underneath if you want to ... I find people wander about in lingerie less in the new place than thy did in the old place ... Probably because its bigger so it seems more defined downstairs for social upstairs for play

Turning up on my own seems quite daunting.

I feel exactly the same. I'm not shy but something like this is affected the scale in terms of confidence. Fancy meeting up together and heading over? Mob handed and all that.

The very first time I went, I was myself.. okay, I had to drink a bottle of wine before I even spoke to anyone but after that it was fine! I think the scariest bit is the unknown

Yeah, try it for yourself and see if it's for you. People look for different things so best you go and see.

I have turned up on my own a few times and to be honest I have always felt safe, welcome and the staff is great and I have made plenty new friends. But that's me!

Usually there's a thread going where people say that they are going and which date, put your name down and arrange to say hi to people.

When you go, be friendly, chat to people and you will be fine.

If you spot me there, come say hi

Everybody has a different opinion about the same club. Try it a couple of times, form your own opinion rather than strangers on here (we are all nutters).

Our opinion of CJS is that it is great.

Other clubs some folk rave about we don't like, but it is what you make it, just like anything else that needs comparing. We are all different, if everyone liked the same thing it would be boring.

Went once and not one person spoke to us the whole night... was I the play room with other couples and felt the females were giving me evils.....wouldn't go back....loads of people like it tho and facilities are good so you might love it x

I agree you've got to try it or you will never know. If you don't like it then no harm done. Personally we love it and find everyone there great too. Not going to be everyone's cup of tea but always been a good night for us. X

lol Rouge, I am very shy too, but at the end of the day, you have to rely on yourself and take yourself by the hand, no one else will. Unless you take a membership to my new service lol

The worst that can happen is that you start to talk to people and they blank you or you are not having a good time and in that case you take yourself home.

I am glad I took myself there and I have made some sexy new friends

Okay, so what can I say.. I love CJs. We've had a couple of bad nights (I am a disaster zone it seems) but always been comfortable and welcome.

A year ago, before I even knew what fab was, I emailed CJ, got ready and walked in solo (and sober ). It was one of the best decisions I ever made and it started off my crazy fab journey.

Live fast.. or you will always wonder what it could have been like

You might love it, you might find that it's not for you.. but there's only one way to find out.

Forums generally have people going, with open invites for pre-drinks.. and wear whatever you feel confident/comfy in.

I went last week with a friend to see what it was like. .day time gg..and I have to say found the whole experience rather depressing..There were maybe two or three girls there and maybe 20 guys wandering about in towels desperate for the girls to go upstairs. When one girl finally did she was surrounded. .I looked and left, so for me it was not a good experience. .

Can't say i've ever been to GG, as I don't personally fancy it. I would guess it's much more like that than the standard party nights. Maybe a different night is more what you are looking for?

Cjs is a great place to meet new people and you wouldn't be on your own long. We went as a couple fir our first time and cj took us a tour and explained what goes on and the do and don'ts.

By the time the tour was over we were chatting away to lots of new people.

My advice would be go along and see what it's like for yourself you always have the option to leave early if you feel like it's not for you.

No not at all. My friend, female was perhaps going to play with a girl. However, there are no private rooms day time so that couldn't happen. .

No, you don't have to wear lingerie, just wear what you are comfy wearing, a second outfit a little more daring in your handbag to change into once you are more settled could be an idea
