Unfortunately it's occurring more and more these days . Sad & pathetic that people feel the need to resort to such things.

Don't think personally that they are after meets because most wouldn't meet them after some of their behaviour displayed on here and inevitably they have zero verifications

I have zero doubt im seen as a troll because I speak my mind and refuse point blank to participate in fluff so be it. But surely by the logic your applying this post is a troll post as its intention is to draw attention to a set of folk and attempt to make them feel bad. While the goody goodys sit and say told you so. Nowt queer as folk

From our experience there are plenty of verified "trolls" on here. Been verified doesn't make you any more genuine just as not been doesn't mean you're on here to take the piss.

Kilwinning

Having just looked up what a Troll is, it would appear that it is some one who goes off topic or posts remarks in the hope of prevoking a reaction.

But if someone posts on the forum and another person does not agree, would they be entitle to voice their opinion even if it provokes a reaction or would they now be classed as a Troll??

Jealous of other people's lives compared to their own pathetic lives. Pay no notice of these sad individuals as the more you give them the more control they think they have.

Need to be careful as I've been on the naughty step for calling someone this before.

However, we should actually pity these poor sad individuals while the rest of us have some real life as well as online fun

I deleted a couple of posts... when you quote a post that's deleted, your post goes too.

Gosh you flatter yourself somewhat!

I didn't censor you. You quoted a post that has been deleted. There's little point me deleting a post then leaving it in your quoted post now is there?

No flattery whatsoever, just seems strange that 3 or 4 of my posts have disappeared recently.

You had a question mark at the end of a sentence that didn't sound like a question, poor grammar can be confusing to the well educated?

Trolls are mostly just a pain but there are times when they can become dangerous! In my line of work I often get asked to secure peoples PC's when a Troll has went too far and hacked a Facebook page or sent malicious software to a client. The big golden rule is simple but very difficult to do,,don't feed the Troll, remember these people thrive on a response and every time you reply you are making the situation worse. The ultimate insult to anyone is to ignore them, trust me they will be burning up with anxiety, you might not think so but Trolls live for a response , after a few times they usually give up, if you can block them the do so, ignore them and carry on with your life and chances are everything will be just fine.

Well now... I think this is probably good advice and on that note, we should probably leave it there.
