Soooo bare with me .... Was in chat earlier reminiscent about old times in chat and on the site and how people have come n gone and how different eras have come n gone and got me thinking about change. I have seen many say how the sites changed.... How the forum has changed....how chat has changed etc.... Do you think we get caught in a time warp? Stuck in certain eras when we felt at our prime? Do we miss people/characters that made it fun for you? technology plays a huge part in how the sites evolving as well as many more access the Internet these days than before ...I think sometimes people struggle with change and don't embrace change .... What do you think about change ?

Oh and ps can we do this without talking about bitching and backstabbing as that's been going on years lol

Fab is like life. It's evolved. Some of it good, some of it not so good.

But, I just ignore the bits I don't like because fab isn't real life

Yes it's changed but change is natural and happens whether we want it or not.

From what I've heard the site was set up for couples as swinging is primarily for them and it's now used massively by singles... maybe swinging itself is changing too and must encompass that. I agree with Andy, you use the site for what you find works for you.

That's how all those lovely FAB folk at admin have set it up for us after all.

Fire xXx

Change is inevitable and we all tend to remember things as being better, summers were always long and hot when you were a kid etc.

Embrace the changes you like and tolerate those you don't

use the site as you want, everyone else does

The site changed, I changed.

What I seek is completely different to before and I have learned lots since joining.

I am acutely self aware and I can laugh at some of the things I did, my over reaction to people and being taken for a complete mug at times. It's all positive though and adds to the tapestry of my life

I'd say the humour and general madness (the good kind) has slowly evaporated over the years. I recall how entertaining the chatrooms were with quiz nights etc and how people were more open to chatting and meeting etc.

possibly the novelty and magic have worn off and the "golden age" of fab is no more.

Totally spent many a night sitting creased by the chat room antics ....that's certainly one big change. I remember people queuing to get in some evenings lol.

Totally agree ..... I look back and think I actually did that and tolerated certain things ....builds your character....I certainly for one look for different things than I did back then,
