aberdeen club

Had a message from a good friend of mine to say that the Aberdeen club has closed, for reasons which om sure the club owners themselves know.

Needless to day that I personally am gutted as it was the only club up this way.

And given the lack of clubs in scotland it is also a bit of a blow to the scene in scotland

I heard it's only close for repairs and the websites are still advertising for the gay sauna and for the monthly swinging nights

One of the staff has just posted it on his status. They won't have had time to update websites yet but wanted to let folk know so nobody turns up for august swinger night

If you have a look at the link on the club reviews page it says this - We regret to announce that the Aberdeen Club has closed.

If we can find new premises in the near future, The Club will be revived, but for the time being, all future party dates have been cancelled.

We would like to thank all of our members for the years of fun and memories, and we hope to see you all again very soon.

It will be the council pulling the opening licence . It happened to the hells bells BDSM club after neighbours and local residents complained about the gay males sauna having sex outside as they was too late for the entry deadline time,

D*unk males missing the door shut time and ended up just shagging outside . Shame for all involved,

Chris

Nothing to do with council, complaints or license being pulled. It was an issue with the building lease

I was told by one of the staff that wellman's was closing and as the swinger club is an extension of this meant they would both close

I suggest you phone on Tuesday if you have heard something different

Agree,it's a real shame, and for those now losing an income!

Hopefully they find new premises soon, and make the most of it when they do. Was always curious as to why they only held swingers nights once a month. Without any competition locally, some time and effort would make a local club very popular!

It would, doubt we'd be able to make it more than once a month though. CJs might be about to get very busy!

It would be nice to have the opportunity to go once a month or more, with a choice of nights. Only having one might a month was always going to limit the clientele massively.

And some theme nights would have been good to see.

Hopefully all tings that can be considered if they manage to find new premises.

Will have to make my first trip to CJ's soon!

we will be back...and yes it is the lease the landlord added a little profit for himself and hiked up the rent by 8000 quid so in this recession we just couldn't make it. However if any nice people have any suggestions of where we can rent we will indeed be very happy to keep it going. thank you all for your kind words and yes we have had some FUN running it. whoop whoop watch this space

we tried it more than once a month but it was too quiet as all that happened was a handful of people turned up at each party so one wowzer night was much better

Totally agree, surely in the current economic climate it's safer to have someone in and paying regularly than an empty unit!

You would have thought so, wouldn't you. But in the world of commercial ptoperty, it doesn't seem to be the case.
