If I remember as a cd I paid the £20 compared to a male who would pay £40 but dont quote me on the male price.

You are correct that it should be a flat entrance price but I think it may very quickly fill with males.

Don't think anyone is directing their comments regarding tiered pricing at the shoebox, one individual is finding it hard to understand that some of us are happy to visit the shoebox and CJ's in the full knowledge that there are price differences and that sex is not guaranteed.

I would recommend any to visit either club and see for themselves what they are like.

This made me laugh. You think a flat rate for all regardless wether male/female/tv but then you want to limit single guys to a minimum! What sense does that make. If thats the case what gives couples or females priority over males! The pricing is the way it is because it works. Girls are free to attract to go. Tvs are cheaper to entice them to dress freely unjudged and open mindedly. Its meant to be about having fun

Volunteers? Was unaware that the Shoebox offered a service.....Thought it was a club where people went to enjoy themselves.

To be honest- if you like the sound of the club, the set up and the regulars then visit and if you don't like the sound of them then refrain.

You'll hear the same stories about women debasing themselves whilst in the After 8 or out dogging every night. So surely it has to come down to the basics of as long as you enjoy yourself, don't hurt anyone and play safe then nobody need comment.

I agree with some points and not with others. I am sorry if you have had a bad experience at one of the clubs at the hands of these pests.

I wouldn't expect anyone to take my verification as a sign of me being anything good or bad, its just feedback, we would need to meet for you to form your own opinion.

I certainly don't frequent clubs because I am desperate for sex, I go because I can dress and socialise with other people, chat over a coffee. If it doesn't go any further thats fine.

in fairness you will get some people who prefer Cj's, some the After8 and some this establishment.

the clientele may differ and if people go and the place isn't for them, then it's cool to critique it on a public forum. It's always good to get a balance.

that being said, I think it unfair on the business to comment negatively if you haven't been, have no intention of going and it's not for you. It is after all, someone's livelihood.

but hey, people will feel the need to comment, usually in someway of putting other people down, either directly to indirectly.

lets not kid on any clubs price based on equality its prices based on market forces females prices have to be low enough to get them to come male price the opposite as we can see from membership on fab theres vastly more men into this lifestyle than women so its important to get enough to go to a club to make club appealing to males and couples prices are based on the balance any club is trying for

and that is sexual discrimination based on gender. It makes no difference whether they can get away with it or not I get why they do it but it is against the law. The service you recieve whether male female or transgender is no diffrent you pay to enter the premises only.nightclubs tried the argument you are using many yrs ago claiming it would end them guess whats still around. sorry but not a viable business model there was one club that tried this in north of england and it lasted few months before dropping price for femalez to lower than before to get them back and males hsd stopped going because it had become a sausage fest

Clearly we have two camps, those who feel that charging different amounts depending on gender is wrong, and those who feel that to control numbers and entice females in is to make them free or a minimal amount.

Can I ask you all then, how many clubs are around that charge everyone the same price compared to those who tier the prices??
