I seem to be staying in Dundee a fair bit recently and getting a bit sick of eating in wetherspoons, zorbas, mcds and KFC so looking for new restaurants to try within walking distance of the holiday Inn express...tried the manchurian which was great but there's only so much Chinese you can eat.

All suggestions appreciated

If you don't mind walking up the Perth Road there are quite a few good restaurants there. Up the far end there's a Turkish restaurant called the Agacan, which I love. It's small but cosy, the food is good.

There are quite a few at the nearer end of the Perth Road though.

There's Papa Joes in Whitehall that's not far from your hotel, and across the street from it is True Kitchen.

There's one at the bottom of the Perth Road too, just along from Debenhams. It's called Anatolia, but I've never tried it. If you like Mexican there's Rancho Pancho just beside your hotel too

There's also a place called Mint that I've seen a few of my friends talk about on FB, not sure where that is though

Rancho pancho is lovely and do brilliant chicken fajitas. Also love the agacan along the Perth road. It's really small usually better booking first. Meat House is good also along the Perth Road.
