Whats with all the aggro in the Scotland forum ?! Yeah the forum has always been filled with different opinions but fuck me,the amount of bitching is killing the place.

Time everyone took a chill pill and enjoyed fab for what it is and to leave all ego's and attitudes at the login page.

Just pointed out similar on another thread. Sometimes it can seem like the entire day everyone is bitching at everyone else. When it gets like that I step away from the forum for a few days.

Don't get me wrong couldn't give a monkeys about Fab politics, but hardly inviting for new members to join in on the forum. Think it's fair to say the numbers have seriously dropped in the Scottish forum over the years and it's a shame coz it used to be a buzzing wee forum.

It's the same dramas over and over again, just the people change through time as the site evolves. The chat rooms have diminished in numbers also.

I'm not keen on the chat rooms. It's just a load of people saying hi and bye, with a little bit of babble in between. And it's sometimes hard to keep up

I guess with the success of whatsapp and kik the need for chat rooms has diminished.

Similar happened when a magazine forum I was on went offline for 5 months, by the time it came back it was quiet because most people had migrated to Twitter

Would say when we joined 10 years or so ago chat rooms were busier than forums there was a queue most nights to get in ....there was the same old dramas and big personalities they just evolve through time.

or bigger characters overshadow the newbies trying to get involved

As someone who's came and went over the yrs yes alot has changed in the chat rooms and forums but unfortunately yes you do get cliques formed and most find it very intimidating trying to get involved...obviously guys as chicks can say what they like and guys will just lap it up but some fems on here can be quiet harsh.

I agree it's hard , everyone has to start somewhere ....cliques/groups however will form and nasty people, big characters, drama queens will always exist but that happens in everything and everywhere ....from websites to work to school etc. It's all about looking outside the box and sifting through the good and the bad.

Threads are going to be repeated doubt most new folk do a forum search . Clubs will be discussed as folk use it to arrange pre drink meets etc . Doggging folk want to find out about it but don't realise it should be done in private . I drift in and out of forums posting not to serious things it's how i like to be . Use the parts of the site you like the way you want to . To those whose threads I invade with my excuse for humour I apologise won't stop me doing it again though .

Why are people apologiesing for commenting on threads? Don't be sorry! If it wasn't for the "boring stuff" no one would be commenting on anything!

I have no idea what's happened to the forums. I've been on and off for 2/3 years now, its went right down hill!

People leave, new ones come and try take over.. others don't like it so they get hounded. Tbf, some of them deserve it. The newbies can be worse than the older ones!

Anyway, its a new day, lets all hug and be happy today's a good day!

As someone who tends to browse posts rather than interact all i can say is if it wasnt for you furry and your fellow regulars there would be nothing worth browsing on the scottish forums.

Over the months ive been browsing ive seen a few posts advertising kik groups looking for members... could it be that these kik groups have taken a lot of the banter away from the forums?

Maybe people like me who browse should take the plunge and start new threads... inject new life into the forums... so come on all us browsers..... become part of the family of posters!!

Ps. I make lovely cakes.... lots and lots of them......

I've just discovered the forums recently, even had to get photo verified just to post to one the other day.

Must say I'm enjoying reading a lot of the threads. It's good to see that there are others out there with similar ideas and opinions about what they like to do.

I have been seeing the odd negative reply and thought to myself there was clearly no need to post that. Everyone is entitled to their opinions of course but some of the time it'd be best kept to themselves. The old saying is good, if you've not got anything good to say, don't say anything at all. Although let's be real, wouldn't be Scottish if there wasn't some moaning, I might be known for moaning a bit myself.

"As someone who tends to browse posts rather than interact all i can say is if it wasnt for you furry and your fellow regulars there would be nothing worth browsing on the scottish forums.

So come and join us, post away.

And I'm sure one of the clique will be along if you break any of the 'rules'. "

Thank you mr bothy i will....cheers x

"Threads are going to be repeated doubt most new folk do a forum search . "

Me too Steph!!!!!
