What's with people writing about there personal life on their status..

In my opinion, People use the site as they wish up to them. Their profile, their status, their say.

I use the site to please myself not others

Depends on what you're looking for from the site. Personally, we look to have conversation, a bit of banter, maybe friendship from potential meets. Other site members may prefer the more robotic meet, fuck and leave type scenario.

We occasionally put slightly more personal status's on our updates, but then it can give something to strike a conversation from. We personally don't see an issue with it. Everyone has their own peraonal preferences.
