I'm having salmon in a mango and ginger sauce, sweet potato, broccoli and carrots for tea and started wondering what meal I'd have on a dinner date.

Nothing involving spaghetti as I'd end up wearing half of it, but I'm not sure what I'd have.

What would you guys have on a dinner date?

I'll let you know! Bothy is wining and dining me tonight at our favourite Italian. Once I make myself look decent.... apparently!

I had a really lovely date a few weeks ago and we went for tapas , the food was amazing but also meant if the conversation dried up ( which thankfully it never) we could at least discuss the food as we shared it x

Coming from an Italian family for us it's always Italian, particularly seafood. Personal favourite is Spaghetti with king prawns and plenty of chilli.

A night at kobee sounds good. Or could mix it up with cocktails and a starter at one seven two at the Caird then the main at Kobee lol.

I'm more likely to get taken to the ferry for fish supper at the waterfront where I'll spend most of the time fighting seagulls for my food lol

It's on Brook Street, right across from the Willows cafe. If you're coming from the other side cross the bridge at the Post Office bar then turn right

A world of my own

Last time I had a chicken thing with salad .. I was trying to impress him by looking healthy. I was still hungry after it.

We then shared the most disgusting pineapple and chilli dessert because he was trying to impress me.

Moral of the story .. eat whatever takes your fancy

True Kitchen also does an amazing butternut squash risotto, and their 3 course meal is a good price.

Just back and had Goats cheese and red pepper stuffed mushrooms then Cannelloni con Pesce which was amazing then a shared Tiramisu. All washed down with gallons of Pinot Grigio. And....the resident balladeer sang Moon River just for me.

Home now for boozy coffee with that "certain man". He is sooooooooo lovely!!

If I were to take a bird out for a dinner date, it's usually a traditional italian resteraunt.

Italian food is the food of romance & passion I reckon.

When the moon hits the sky, like a big pizza pie, thats amore
