I'm a non voter. Which I have my reasons for. However is always amusing to see the reaction of people. We all slander the other side as tho they have made a huge mistake yet we all get on with our lives as thou literally nothing has happened.

That said I'm glad we have left the EU had turned into a political union.. Not what it was set up to do...

The same number that, if the vote had been the other way, would be saying "Why did we miss this opportunity"

One think that I wouldnt be doing if it had gone the other way, is calling remain supports idiots, as that what it feels like they are calling us now - all for having an opinion and a democratic vote. The irony,

Gotta get round the fixed term parliment act 1st for another GE.

Needs 2/3rds of mps to support it.

As for another indyref.

The UK digs it self into a hole, along comes the SNP and proposes that Scotland digs itself a deeper hole.

Except to piss off the rUK, why would the EU give an iScotland an accelerated "special" status?

It could allow it to keep the status it already has I don't think there's a precedent for it this way but Germany was allowed to incorporate east Germany and west Germany together to be larger so no reason why it can't be done the other way

when it comes down to it oil will be the deciding factor were the second largest oil producers in Europe access to our fishing waters our higher education system is very popular also and our financial clout would be greatly increased as London offices would be forced to relocate head offices to Edinburgh to get unfettered access to EU and a number of businesses would be forced to do same if only in part this would mean taxes paid here and a growing economy

Got that in writing?

Or are you just standing under the magical wishing tree going 'I wish, I wish, I wish!"?

1. Oil, currently in glut, being parked in tankers. With Iranian oil due to come on stream it will make NS oil even more marginal to produce.

2. Access to fishing waters, how and with what are you going to protect them with, ditto the oil rigs in 1. Funny how the SNP demand that its them that speak in the EU fisheries discussions, yet dangle them like some fat carrot in an attempt to entice the EU to look favourably on access. Poor bloody fishermen damned by both sides.

3. Higher ed, yes it's highly thought of. So is the German, French and Dutch systems. As the Scottish Higher ed system (9% of the Uk) takes in 15% of the available Uk grant funding and a fair chunk of EU funding, where would the cash come from to keep the brightest and best at our Ancient seats of learning?

4. Finacial office relocation. You're having a laff, they'd probably brass plate in either Lux or Eire where there are lower tax costs. Can you tell us what the corporation tax rate in an iScotland would be? Considering the latest gers (snp government) figures give a deficit in excess of £15 billion.

Cut Corp tax/NHS/Education/ Pensions/Transport/Social Benefits.??

The EU won't let Scotland in without applying. It will need a unanimous decision and nations like Spain will be dead against it. Also I wouldn't expect any great financial institutions to rush up here as the SNP's plan is to continue using Sterling so they'd be moving to a country with no cental bank, which would be madness for them.
