The furthest we've travelled for clubs is Aberdeen and Glasgow. Organised meets are usually in and around our city

Some people are worth travelling for and im sure if the discretion is paramount....your next door neighbour might be your golden ticket.

Good luck

Would travel within reason. Maybe Glasgow or Edinburgh as we're sort of in the middle. Prefer to meet localish though. Have the feeling that it makes life easier if you haven't travelled far and there's no chemistry in person.

Yeah, we don't get to as many as we'd like to.

Never travelled out of Dundee yet purely for a meet. Always been local or if I've been in the area anyways.

I was thinking this same thing.

Im was nervous about going too local incase discretion is not upheld. It's a risky old game

I went to Edinburgh once but generally speaking within 10 miles of home. I would do local cos I don't really know anyone in this area so it's not like we're going to bump into easy other a lot, if ever. One couple who live a mile away wouldn't meet cos they said I'd know the husband. I don't even know the people in my own street ha. But I can see why people don't meet local in smaller or tight knit communities.

Close to home don't matter. Keep your self private n share with the ones u trust n discretion kept n it shouldn't be a prob. To many judges in the big bad world. That's what's good about fab.

Build up trust in people before u reveal pal. Good advice for everyone I think. Maybe I'm over cautious but that's me.

Aviemore and regularly visit Glasgow

So far we've travelled quite far for fun.

Because of where we live it's a bit of a necessity though!

"being new to the sceen im curious to how close to home or how far we all travel for fun "

According to your profile. Joined over a year ago does not make you " new to the scene "

Not having any verifications in a year does raise the question ,

Asking how close to home so you play when you can't accommodate raises another concern

Or am I just cynicial now with so many time wasters and non genuine meet people on fab now.

Prefer local, wouldn't meet anyone from chapelhall as it's a bit too close for me but anything within a ten minute drive is perfect.

Not working just now so long distance isn't good for me

I currently don't own transport so relying on public transport to get around so I've filtered my search to within 20 miles, but then again I can accommodate.

When I had my own car I would travel anywhere in Scotland for a meet.

Because my previous work meant travelling to London, Birmingham, Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, Derry and Edinburgh regularly I would always check in advance if there was anyone on here in these cities looking to meet at the nights I was there and obviously I had a hotel room.

I prefer local, keeps it thrilling. Always awkward when you bump into someone in a small place like Dundee though

Paisley

I travelled to Ayr from Paisley and it was well worth it and I would recommend travelling any distance if you have built up a rapport with the person
