Wasted my 20's, 30's living 6 days a week in a gym but then I was a semi pro boxer. I was ripped but felt too skinny

Looking back at pics now I have to agree I boxed at the weight Ricky Burns is at ie 10st

Stopped training in my late 30's and put on 5 stone and felt like a cuddly bear

Doctor advised 6 months ago my blood pressure was dangerously high and I had to do something about it

Now weigh 12st and comfortable not ripped per se but the definitions of my one athletic body is starting to show again.

Parts of me are still needing worked on but on the whole more comfortable in my skin now than I've ever been

Don't care what others think of my build the most important thing for my Wellbeing is I am healthy again and I feel good about my self

Moral of my message who gives a flying fuck what your body type is as long as your healthy and are comfortable in yourself

I get the point of your story. Just wondering why you think you "wasted your 20s-30s" because you went to the gym? Also what does "semi pro mean?"

Just curious as I box (amateur club) and I love it. It's definitely good for folk wanting to get lean.

Wasted, when my mates were out doing the things I do now I was living like a monk watching my diet, not drinking etc.

Semi-Pro I fought 84 Amateur fights and had 12 unlicensed Professional fights sort of a pre cursor to the white collar boxing that goes on now.

Back in the day it wasn't as big as it is now and was mostly underground similar to the Pikey bare knuckle stuff
