Why do some people on here feel that rather than a simple reply to a nice friendly message they would block you, are they better than anyone else probably not , there are a lot of lovely genuine people on here, sorry but had to get that of my chest xxxx

Manners is all about holding a door open for a lady helping an old person across a busy road ..or giving up your seat on the bus for an elderly person ..manners are what your taught x

Manners should not need to be taught. Observing how people you respect behave is all it takes.

I know this is a major bain for guys but this is my take on it.

if you didnt like someones profile you wouldnt mail them.....why then if i dont like your mail or profile should I reply. Believe me a polite no doesnt work.....get over it. x

agree to an extent there cherry. But i prolly too soft and would send a wee mail back saying please read my profile, unless they were really smutty, then i would just go straight to block. In the real world i wish i could be tough, but i just a softie

If they block you just look at is as if they are saving your time in the future as they won't come up in searches nor will you be able to mail them again, thus cutting down on the profiles you have to look through to send mails too

Also, fems and couples can get hundreds of mails a week, if they spent time replying to all 'no thanks' they wouldn't have time to actually meet.... Plus at least a quarter would then mail back saying 'why not?' and then after a detailed explanation probably get a mail back 'you a xxx xxxxxx xxxxxxx anyway' . So, for many, block is the quickest and most pain free option.

But maybe, just maybe, open Fab in two windows; 1 with the profile you messaged and the other with the message you sent them. Compare the two.

Can YOU see why the person(s) didn't reply?

Once you can see why - you're ready to move on.

Even if you get a positive or nice response, its not the green light for anyone to pester the hell out of folks nice enough to respond.

Whilst i agree with part of what you say , i have to say manners should be taught to our children as we teach them to talk and walk and feed , we tell them to say please and thank you for what they want and what they recieve , maybe these things have been forgotton as people have grown up in a nasty world where manners and kindness is taken as weakness, but come on folks , lets all remember to respect those we speak to and remember our manners when trying to kindle new friendships on here , it would make fab a much happier place.

Remember though its also manners to take a no thank you on board and not wear peoples patience with persistance.

I think steve summed it up best - ive been lucky enough to make a lot of nice female friends on here and a lot of them are just that - friends - but from what they tell me their message boxes are constantly full and they would never have the chance to chat to people if they responded to every one - let alone deal with the abuse they get if they havent answered within 5 mins of mail being received - god forbid!! - guys i still count myself as fairly new here but if ive learned anything its show some respect - get to know the ladies and dont come on here sending messages expecting a quick fuck - oh and i has may have mentioned previously - READ THE DAMN PROFILE!!!! seriously its nice to have manners and in an ideal world it would be great to have a macro that says thanks but no thanks but i personally think just move on peeps if your mail has been deleted etc - why push it further - all you are doing is frustrating yourself - pissing people off etc etc - i get more deleted mail than answered but it doesnt put me off - just enjoy being here and realise the women here have a lot of you vying for their attentions - dont get angry - get better than the other mailers :p ie maybe stop with the 1)hi sexy 2) want to fuck tonight 3)whatcha up to. A little effort goeas a long way here.

Just my 2 cents as always
