Anybody else suffer with this? And had it start all of a sudden?

Not suffered with it before but had to come in out of the garden yesterday with eyes almost closed and streaming. Took an anti histamine and it calmed down

Took one this morning but the symptoms are starting again

Anyone have any tips/experienced similar?

Yes, you have my extreme sympathy.

I suffered badly with it when I was a whippersnapper then for the last few years not really bothered. Until last year

Keep taking the anti histamines, even if you think you'll be ok (raining, not in garden etc). You'll build up more of a tolerance in your system that way. X

I have had it all my life, your body is susceptible every 7 years to change, this year you have Hayle very. Keep taking the tablets (from your doctor) and build up a defence. I thought I couldn't drive to work yesterday, yesterday was bad.

Suffering too. You can develop allergies any time and you may not necessarily get symptoms every year. I didn't last year!

Friend has recommended a qu-chi band (spelling?)...it's an acupressure band that you wear on your elbow...watch this space!!!

I've not been so bad since I moved north thank god. But all you can do is take the tablets and avoid the hot spots.

Easier said than done I know. Big sunglasses can help. As does regular hand and face washing, it stops the pollen sticking to you for too long.

Other than that, a furry hug is the not other thing that MAY help

As the temperature rises the pollen goes higher up into the atmosphere so ur symptoms should calm during day, but when it cools down at nite it comes back down again hence u get worse again in the evening

Wear swimming goggles, and don't breathe until October.

You're welcome.

I heard today a glass of pineapple juice every morning is meant to help. Not the concentrate stuff though. I'm going to give it a go. Other benefits of pineapple juice are well known!
