Hey Folks

Just wondering yur thoughts about this matter.

If your a guy and you accommodate, do you think it makes it a lot easier to have a meet or is it just as hard as guys who don't accommodate. All viewers comments welcome.

Hopefully moving into my place this week so Meets galore woohoo, so hoping for a meet in 2017

It's hard to say whether having my own place made any difference or not. I suppose some will always assume if you can't it's cos you're hiding something or cheating. But not all the meets I had as a single guy were at my place, often I went to others places because they preferred to be in their own home.

I've accommodated once. Every other time has been elsewhere. Don't think it helps but as mr j said - think it just looks off if you "can't" - like you're hiding something. As for me, it's just cause I'm just a bit out of the way that accommodating is generally inconvinient.

I have accommodated in the past but the guy kept coming to my door so I don't really meet in my own home anymore so would prefer someone else's after socials

I think some women prefer meeting at the guys place for safety incase any of the guys turn out to be stalkers as mentioned as well as the guy hiding something/cheating. I noticed a small increase in messages received when I changed my profile from unable to accommodate, to can accommodate. Some women won't meet you unless you can accommodate but I think the rest of the women on here are more interested in what you have to say on your profile, your pics and how you can chat to them. If you can't do that then it doesn't matter if you can accommodate or not. That's my view but I could be wrong.

As a single female I never go to someone else's home unless I know them well and have played with them at mine before. Would never go for a first meet to a strangers house got fear of assault, being filmed, being held prisoner.

Personally I can't accom, but if you look at one of the photos on my profile you'd see my room mates bed opposite mine (the joys of living in a barracks!), hence why I am more than happy to meet on the neutral ground of one of this fine country's premier inn* establishments.

*other brand hotel chains are available.

All my meets have involved me travelling.

Recently put up a post on meets etc that I was possibly hosting a small party

at my flat. Expected reasonable response,

Not a single message from anyone enquiring.

So no it doesn't make a blind piece of difference if you accom or not

I actually enjoy hotel meets as it's neutral ground so to speak so always works well for me but if someone can accommodate that suits me fine too

Even though i can accommodate, living in a shared accom is a bit awkward. Would rather meet in a hotel. What's to say the woman isn't a psycho when u go to her house

I'd say defineley yes, I don't accomodate and always getting offers to come to mine but rarely anyone offer to accomodate.

That's par for the course when you're a single guy. I put up plenty of meet events as a single, offering to accommodate or travel & I never got a single response in 4 years. But then mine would have got lost in the torrent of other guys haha

Personally I don't think it matters . As I can accommodate occasionally but prefer not to. If can meet at their place great if not I have no qualms about getting a hotel room. Everyone has different circumstances. Could be living with flat mate, family member or kids.

I could accomodate but i just cant relax for thinking a neighbour will knock on the door or my granny will pop in.

Bene living in My Younger Sisters big house with her hubby and kids. I was hardly in due to work so it didn't really matter to them so obviously I didn't accommodate, I don't think they took to lightly to it when a fabber turned up at their house looking for me, lolllll.

I can accommodate now so the stalkers are all for myself when they arrive

We tend to go for folk who can accommodate for 2 reasons 1. we cant with son living with us and 2. we have stung quite a few times for hotels when folk said they would meet and half costs then don't turn up as their sisters cousins grannies pals hamster died etc etc etc lol but we not adverse to sharing costs and have accommodated a few times when son went on his holibags lol. One thing for sure.

if I accommodate I will make sure I know what the person looks like now, not what they were 10 years ago or what they want to look like.
