BBW - I get confused with this lol

What is a BBW? Profiles I have seen the girls might be a size 14/16 and I wouldn't consider that big?

Me being a fellow fatty would love to meet a guy who would accept my body the way it is but wouldn't consider myself a BBW Even though I'm fat lol

Further to this I always thought that the 'beautiful' part was more a way of saying that just because you are big doesn't mean you can't be attractive, beautiful etc rather than saying that if you are big you are beautiful ...To me it was simply a more positive way of viewing yourself

Why can't you have a posative self image,self worth and be secure in your own skin ?Aslong as it not inflating your ego I believe it's a much healthier out look to have .I crawl in to a ball sobbing if I took some of the comments on here to heart . You need to believe in yourself and have a hide of a rhino on here or you'd end up a basket case lol . Fortunately I have the Rhino hide down pat lol x

Why should it be upto others to decide?

Far to many want to put others down for the way they look so who should we believe the ones who tell us we are beautiful or the ones who tell us we're ugly ?... ive had both said to me but the bottom line is I'm a very confident woman who doesn't give a rats arse what people think of me because I was brought up with very encouraging parents who taught me selfworth which I have carried with me all through my life and belive it .

And I hope I've managed to pass that onto my own children .

I believe I'm beautiful so who is anyone to tell me I'm not?

Of course we all have good days where we truly feel beautiful and other days where we don't that's not size specific it's all sizes of women I'm sure have have experienced that.

Back to the op there are many guys who appreciate the fuller figured woman so just be patient and I'm sure ul find them ... good luck

Seems my comment ruffled some feathers this is my view and im not trying to change anyone elses. I do believe alot of woman especially believe the hype. Then suffer from moments of grandeur you can have a confident positive attitude without being beautiful. Im happy with who I am I dont need to plaster myself with the term stud handsome or any other self pleasing title.

I think it's more size than weight because someone who's say 5"2 would look totally different to someone who was 5"7 but weigh they same if that makes any sense!

Agree with this.. I'm 6'1 and a size 24/26 which some people don't believe cause I don't look it whereas friends of mine who are much shorter are 18/20 and weigh more than me, it's so confusing haha. I call myself bbw cause I've been told I am but I'd rather just be called fat

OP, everyone's definition of BBW or 'big' or 'fat' is different.

To me, it doesn't really matter what term any lady uses unless it's derogatory to themselves. Then I put them straight.

I've seen a few descriptions on this thread by ladies putting themselves down. I've met one or two of them and have to say that, yes they are larger ladies, but no - that doesn't make them unattractive to me.

Everyone is different.

But as far as your question goes, there is no set definition. It all depends on people's own individual views

I would say curvy is a 12-16, ample is 16-20 and bbw is 20+. Everyone's perception of that differs though, as does the world's perception of beautiful/attractive.

I'm not sure what constitutes a bbw it differentiates massively(no pun intended) from girl to girl.

I think the second part of your question is difficult for me to answer as the female body and touch is beautiful in my eyes regardless of size and shape aslong as we get on and feel comfortable in each others company my only must is good hygiene.

a C-cup on a size 6 woman could be BBW, but a C cup a size 18 could appear small

I don't mind it as a term. It definitely beats the f word (fat)

I don't think it applies to any particular sizes it's just in the eye of the beholder as it were.

If I'm called a bbw I would take it as a compliment. But I would never say on a profile or a message 'I am a BBW' I would feel presumptuous lol
