Had statics for about ten years... totally agree re forget the towing.... just drive up... open the door... switch on the kettle...

I'm a truck driver and I despise caravans. You don't know how to drive/reverse them and you park in truck bays in services! Just pay for a hotel ffs

I am proud to say I took delivery of my caravan yesterday.

Can't wait to get away now.

As for drivers.

I have my IAM,EFAD,ROSPA,HGV and DOT.

As for a hotel yeah it's fantastic but the freedom

Not all caravan drivers are muppets there is HGV drivers on the road aswell that are!!

As a highly professional class 1 driver with an adr certificate and a certificate of professional compitance and also an advanced instructor and a member of the iam I'd put my skill at reversing to the test with anyone so stop talking through the hole in your arse....I thank you

You don't need an HGV licence to be able to reverse a caravan!

As for HGVs, some drivers leave a lot to be desired, there worse than car drivers!

Sticking up for my HGV driver hubby, he can park his lorry no bother, however he sometimes just sometimes canny park the car for toffee,
