I bought a pair of wolford hold ups last week. £35 but worth every penny. They genuinely last for years and feel soooooo good

I have a few pair as they are cheap and cheerful and do the job for naughty meets. Tried Ann summer ones and they were really rubbish....either too small or too big. Primark for me Mrs

Yeah the stripy top ones are M&S, I have a few pairs. Found the Primark ones to be just fine too. I'd like more fancy patterned ones though

Primark are the best I've had. Ann Summers have sizing issues. Asda are good too but not a patch on primani and pradamark ones.

Last time I spent that much on stockings they were pure silk and some ham fisted 'admirer' ripped them on their second outing... grrr

Soft cotton gloves.. stops your nails ripping them.

Absolutely. - have a pair of the primark ones that really are an "old faithful" worn loads of times.

Finding that primark are reducing their range a bit - fewer opaques and heavier deniers which is a shame.

Is that because of bad stockings or good meets?

Ditto!! Well maybe not quite before I go out, but certainly by the time I get home, their ready for the bin! Makes you wonder if it is really worth buying the more expensive brands. I'm quite sure they'd not be any different.

I'll need to try Primark ones always bought from Anne's. Though they fit well they never last long enough.

My pedantry is getting the better of me (with a glass of wine)....

Primary stripey topped hold ups are a bit chavvy.

There. I've said it. Its like a weight off my mind.

Seriously...wear whatever stockings you like.

Wear them because they feel good! Wear them because they look good. Wear them for you.

Not him (or her).

I pay an arm and a leg for decent hold-ups because they feel so good against my legs. Teach your partner to respect the legs, they may be expensive!

I get all roz's from ebay company in Edinburgh, job lot every few months, she wears them all the time, work rest and play, never any issues of rolling down or snagging, just replaced because of wear and tear, if anyone wants the ebay link I can give you it

So, yeah the stripey top ones are not just from Primark, I have a pair from a small underwear shop and I know they are also available in M&S. The quality, material and sizing varies, its just a popular style.

Though saying that, I have owned a fair few primark stockings in my time. They last well, better than more expensive ones I found, but because of the material they also don't feel as good (to me anyway). The best stockings I have ever owned cost a bit more but were destroyed in one night.. The material was just so silky and soft, that nails/heels/who knows what else broke them.

I also really like very high stockings which cover most of my thigh, but Primark doesn't do these for my size/shape. So yeah, I love stockings anyway, no matter where people buy them from.

It's like most other clothing - size, design and price are individual

Mrs J xx

Got to say I'm not keen on the stripey top ones. I like a bit of lace.
