I don't think they are shit but I do think it can go in cycles whereby I browse but nothing really interests me and I don't post anything.

Other times I post a little but nothing too serious. ...I have plenty of serious in my day to day life away from here

The forums aren't shit, but there should be a filter that blocks you having to see the frequent "kiss, f*ck, avoid" threads, and the like. And threads about cake.

Use the forum as you wish or ignore what you dont like it's only used by a small percentage of the folk here . If you want better try the lounge it's busy though more doesn't mean better .

Totally agree with the op. To many people caught up on rules. Or looking for a reason to report each other .kik groups turning it into a facebook..whats. up with talking on here .

People falling out letting fab take over there lifes. Ment to be Nsa fun a place to meet people who are like minded. To meet socially.etc.

Have to say the OP has a good point as most forum posts which have sensible content get twisted by the 5th reply and thats not just in the Scottish forums it's in all , Freedom to discuss things within REASON AND NOT BREAKING RULES to me are what forums are about not being strangleholded by others .

The emergence of Kik groups and chat will account for a good percentage of inactivity on the forums.

Some people will prefer to chat on Kik to other people who they are civil and have become friendly with, rather than post here, which can very often be the opposite.

Kik groups element more people cause more cliques..more to the point most don't last as there boring and hard to keep up with . Is it not better to have a lively fun forum. Than more people drifting away ..??

Abuse comes about with jealousy.loyalty and just nasty spiteful people.
