Didn't realise it was full of old people? Saturday night there I'm sure that half the people there was under 40? So an under 40's night would have even less people attending

Old people and swinging eh

Maybe we could also see if enough people are interested in a over 6ft, under size 12, red head night?

So i am under 40 under a size 12 and a red head i can wear big heels for the 6ft bit lol.

So anyway this is someone else business and the world of fab is not about just your tastes if it was it would be hell of a boring. You joined fab to have a change from your sex life and spice it up. Everyone is the same. But if you want to pay cjs bills and dictate who should come to her club then you will have a right to say who should come. I have many friends from a wide age range and age is just a number if age is your problem its not everyone elses

Lol I highly doubt this would ever become a thing but entitled to want it I guess. I can't see CJ wanting to alienate a group of people who have helped to get her club where it is today. Our preference is also for couples under 40 but we'd never write someone off whos over that mark let alone try and tell them they can't attend a particular night lol. Age is but a number anyway there are some seriously sexy folk on this site who are north of the big four O.

If it's going to happen then it better be soon as hit the big 40 in September

The beauty about cjs and swinging in general is the verity of people you meet! It's a big enough club now that there is plenty of room for all age groups without alienating a certain category!

Imagine it would be hard to control!

If Cjs was so packed that It was having to open more nights then perhaps. But till then it would be a bad move. I'd say set up a party and once you have a big enough list contact Cjs and see what they say.

Although playing devils advocate. I see both sides.

Attended cjs a few times and found it was mostly older people who I wouldnt choose to play with. However had a great social night anyway.

Also attended a few times and although younger people there have choose to play with over 40 as they were more on my wave length and ticked my boxes.

So suppose it depends if u play based on a number or on a connection.

I'm 31 and certainly an acquired taste so I tend to make my choice based on who I get along with or in some cases don't

Oh you're missing out on some good fun if you exclude the over 40s! Some of the best times I've had at CJs are with those that don't normally fit within my age preference. That's the beauty of the place!

If we are throwing out suggestions for nights... I'd like a "uniform appreciation night."

I'm sure someone finds my old Morissons uniform sexy....

There were lots of young couples there on Saturday. Got to agree with the majority of people age is only a number, we know lots of amazing sexy couples over 40. Not sure Cj would do this but worth asking I suppose.

Why not choose a night then ask lots of under 40s couples to go the same night? That way everyone's happy?

the club facilitates enough play areas for 'play'..regardless of age, gender and sexuality. Its easy enough to have a private room.

There isn't really any need for 'exclusivity' to one particular group in my opinion, I'd prefer to socialize with all..and of course have my sexual preference for play.

exactly, age is irrelevant, there are plenty of absolutely stunning "over 40s" and a shit ton of less so attractive people in their 20s-30s that go as well. Why not just have a "attractive people only" night instead? I jest

I think from a business sense it wouldn't be financially viable as cj's would make far more money opening the club to everyone at a weekend than a select group such as under 40's .....I think it would be a big drop in cash as the under 40's has always been lower in numbers.....and at the end of the day it is a business that's only opened select days of the week.....I could be wrong but that's my view.

I agree there's a problem on fab that as soon as people think they may be excluded from something they seem to get upset but that's an issue for them. I recently turned 40 so I'd be excluded from these nights but I don't see a problem with that and can understand why.

The point here is if you want to have a select group thats why people organise there own parties not to tell a club owner who they should invite. Would be the same if someone suggested an over 40s night. Its cjs business and alienating certain groups would have an effect on her business. No one goes to a club to expect everyone to be to there tastes. And you wouldnt expect that going in to town if you where on a night out.

As I said earlier cj's is a business therefor won't go for this idea I said that in an earlier post....and I don't think the op is telling cj anything I think they were just putting some feelers out.....I think there's a place for all sorts of nights ....under 40's night work in other clubs down south....but as I said earlier i don't think it makes business sense for cj's.

Again I can see both sides of the argument.

It's hard to be in your 20's and turnig up somewhere that has an average age that matches your parents - definitely not meant to offend older people but can be a turn off. I can also see the opposite being true.

As cj said probably a place for both an over and unders night.

As usual the fab community members take it personal and get uppity about it

I dont take it as a personal issue...what I dont really like is 'select' groups. To me cj's has always been a great social place(for all sorts ,even me ). Yes its a swinging club, so there will be people wanting sex..but if you or they are outwith the sexual interest, I pointed out above that its easy enough to find a private area if you dont want mingling with your personal undesireables.

I'd rather any club had no exclusions, especially for the socialness that is in essence the actual modern version of swinging.

When questions like these come up, I often feel its like people tend to think that having their pre-set to-do listers, that it'll make up for their lack of finding enough hot/young people like themselves via the site itself.

besides the point that cj's has been attracting many younger types in recent times anyway..to the point it'd be pretty impossible an entire under 40's night that everyone would find the time to get round to shagging everyone...mainly cos most of the nite theyd be posing anyway

"Again I can see both sides of the argument.

When questions like these come up, I often feel its like people tend to think that having their pre-set to-do listers, that it'll make up for their lack of finding enough hot/young people like themselves via the site itself.

besides the point that cj's has been attracting many younger types in recent times anyway..to the point it'd be pretty impossible an entire under 40's night that everyone would find the time to get round to shagging everyone...mainly cos most of the nite theyd be posing anyway "

Well said Pal

The fact is ...Swinging is about consenting Adults participating in mutual sexual exploration.

I can tell you from the early days of Fabswingers anyone under the age of 28 or younger was pretty much rare.It does seem over the years that there is a massive increase in the younger generation coming through.

As the young lass has stated ..Why would she want to be around people that matches the same age as her parents..By the same token the reveresed attitude would be why would people the same age as her parents want to be in the same presence as their kids..

What happened too like-minded people enjoying mutual discussions and inter-acting through conversation.

I didn't read every post on this thread. There are lots of drawbacks in CJ having an under 40's night or an over 40's night. Most have been discussed here..... but if you find enough willing to attend an under 40's night you could approach CJ and ask to privately hire the venue for a night and then organise it amongst yourselves.

I'd need to leave C in the car with the window down, if he's lucky I'll give him a bag of crisps and a can of pop

This thread made me smile

Am 45 and flabby but I am told I look younger...

If I hold my flab with a tight corset and leave my walking stick at home, can I go to the Under40's night lol

Been to Cjs a few times and personally the last thing I check out is people's age lol but that's me

Am happy to go there and mingle between the young and the old bodies doing my thing

Think we oldies need to watch out, there could be several bennefits to this idea for the management. First there would be no need to instal a stairlift to enable the aforementioned auldie's access upstairs. The need for emergency recusitation equipment would be negated. neither would there be the enormous queues at the toilets as our weakened bladders threaten to burst. The carparks would not be filled with disabled taxis able to carry our wheelchairs, zimmers and crutches. and lastly no need for sack barrows or supermarket trollies to carry the recently sudden deseaced from the club, after they have suffered cardiac arrest from chasing the younguns around the place. We also would'nt inflict the rest with our severe lack of sense of humour. LOL

I think the defibrillators in the dungeon idea would be good though. Much better than a violet wand. Certainly more entertaining. And bugger the riding crops, a good wallop with a crutch would be more satisfying. St Andrews cross? Nah, stretchers uprighted, that way people could get carted out without being untied, and the clothes wouldn't need much cutting off. Not much fabrics in a thong.

What's the difference between meeting someone that 39 and a half years old and someone who's 40 and ten days old (apart from 192.5 days of course!) Does it mean they play better or talk differently? Or do you feel you have a mental block once the clock ticks over to the big 4.0.? Of course not.

Why don't you look to organise your own party though?
