Ours are a mix of meets we've had together, some are for me alone and others are from people who've attended our socials and parties.

If anyone's unhappy with our verifications that's their problem.

Same here - I choose not to show them... but it's horses for courses, others find them useful to show and yet others like to see who a potential meet has already met

Quite the opposite, in fact. Must just be a disdain that's reserved for the newbies or people having the audacity to ask for advice.

That a pop at me? I've commented on this thread and also said on others to use the forum search box.

No idea why there's a chip on your shoulder, but yes if people did bother to search for stuff it would save a lot of time, and the same subjects being posted over and over.

There's not a vendetta here, it's just a fact. It's also a fact that to survive the forums you need a thick skin, you're not demonstrating that right now.

For me veriifcations are additional tool to help me decide if i want to talk to the person who sent me a message.

If some hides their verifications im afraid to say it makes me suspicious about what there is to hide?

I am more regularly coming across single guys verifying each other and hiding their verifications to make it look like they have a verified profile if that makes sense lol

I choose not to show mine as I feel they are sometimes more hassle than they are worth.

I don't need to prove I'm genuine by displaying verifications and if some people think I've got some thing to hide that's their problem.

As a guy I feel I must prove I am worth meeting but they have given me grief in the past.

I have had the " I won't meet you because you met .... " so verifications can be a double edged sword

I worried too that people may not believe that I am a real woman and not some big bloke with a hairy chest or the like lol .... But for me it is more about being discreet I suppose x

Being relatively new to the site verifications are the one bit I'm struggling with. I get that they help identify someone as real and things but some are so intimate and explicit its not something I want said about me.

I also don't want people knowing what I've done or with who, I guess if you meet someone on your wavelength then they won't leave a veri you disapprove of anyway.

Im the same, I guess being verified and photo verified should be enough but people will just have to take time to get to know us and judge for themselves!

If someone has veris and they arent visible I will ask if they will make them visible for me to see before meeting. Never had a guy refuse to do it.

Someone I know thought that every time she was verified by someone another fab lady would move in. Not that she wasn't allowed to, it was just quite amusing. Within a day, a message would be in their inbox.

A world of my own

I used to think they were really tacky, actually sometimes I still do. I've also seen first hand the problems they can cause.

As others have said, the things I get up to are my business only.

I sometimes show them and sometimes hide them. It depends on my mood.

Like most things on fab though, I take them with a big pinch of salt.
