"so whats the best or your most favourite bar in glasgow city centre ?"

The city centre isn't well provided for with good bars.

If I had to choose a 'city centre bar', it'd be the Pot Still on Hope Street.

Heading west - the Ben Nevis, Three Judges, Lismore and the Chip are worth a visit.

Heading east - Babbity Bowsters is about all there is.

South of the river - Heraghtys.

Hope Street, where the Copenhagen Building is, used to be called Copenhagen Street named after The Duke of Wellington's horse Copenhagen!

"or curlers byres road"

Curler's had a 'facelift' a wee while back.

It didn't help. Botox on an octogenarian.

I like the Solid Rock as my kind of music, Rammstein etc and tunes that i would not get to hear in any other bars.I have also had some great times in Reflex the 80's bar..is it still open? For cheap booze and as a meeting place i sometimes go the Goose lol then stagger around the corner to the Solid Rock ha ha.The truth is i will drink most places but Solid wins for me.

So many posts and not a single mention for any bars/pubs I really like.

Just goes to show, there’s so many in Glasgow that everybody can have entirely different favourites!

We like all kinds of places. Rufus T Firefly is good for music. Other than that it tends to be the Merchant City, Corinthian (now that it's been done up), Home, Polo Lounge..
