I've never understood this, being turned off becuase you don't think someone is attractive I understand but how people talk or type isn't something to judge people on.

Not starting arguments but I think it's just a bit petty and pathetic

My sentiment exactly.

My spelling and typing is shocking.

But does this stop me from having amazing sex emmmm no

I'm with the OP. It is the language most of us were taught in school, yet so many can't even manage the basics. It is especially galling when you visit certain countries in Europe, and they have a better mastery of English than many in the UK!

You can clearly string a sentence together. We still stand by the judgemental stance though. If you(se) want to use defiantly and yous as proper words meaning something else then you're not for us.

Nothing turns me off people more than them sitting in judgement of others, of whom they know little to nothing about.

C is a terrible speller. This doesn't mean he's not intelligent or articulate, he's just bad at spelling. Doesn't mean I love him any less for it, even if I have to read something a few times now and again.

Being that im a sapiosexual I require a certain measure of intelligence to stimulate my interest as there's nothing worse than folk who say that they don't like one/two liner messages and you take your time to make the effort to write a considerate and well thought out response that doesn't get a response or even worse only gets you a one word response lol

I presumed they were trying to be ironic, I never considered someone might have the temerity to be judgemental about literacy, whilst being illiterate!

Without knowing the person and their story it's unfair to judge. My spelling can be shocking. My grammar often jumbled. Sad to hear I could be so unattractive to people based on this

Its all down to personal choice, me personally i find uneducated people a turn off. Thats on one hand but on the other i met a solicitor & were naked in bed all set for a bit of you know what, she was able to string more than 2 sentences in actual fact she spoke about her dead dad while we were in bed. I walked out

Everyone has their own way of filtering meets . If that works for you then great !

Personally spelling and grammar aren't a huge issue to me ,as long as I can understand what they mean.

Having to drag conversation out of a person like I was pulling teeth ..well I just advise them I can't see it heading anywhere and wish them well .
