Well last night we arranged a meet. Done the usual conformation over the phone and S spoke to the female so all good to meet.

We arranged to meet them in a pub just to get make sure everyone was happy.

We got to the pub and sure enough the woman was as her profile pic so we sat down and done introductions.

She said my partner is at the bar he will be here shortly.

And sure enough her partner walked round the corner. Which just happened to be S friends husband.

Now I didn't know the guy but S as sharp as you like "Hello Paul".

Now I don't know why he done it but his first words were " I'm not Paul I'm Dave". It was the look on the woman's face. I done that oh shit here we go. We left them arguing and he is probably staying at his mates now lol.

Ohoh not good talk about akward moment. I bumped in to 2 fab friends in the same supermarket once & they where talking to each other. I quickly turned round lol

It was just the way he said it lol both the girls knew his name was Paul.

It was one of those mate just stop before you dig yourself any deeper.

i feel sorry for the fem, couldn't imagine how she would have felt then. Iv recognised a few people and I definately know a couple more currently on the site but I will never message them for the simple reason that I would hate to put them in the awkward situation of feeling obliged to reply. Plus to be fair, if I have recognised them then odds are they recognised me too...
