No abuse

I feel for the people who get abusive messages, either out of the blue or from people who's advances they've politely rejected.

But I just wanted to say on a more positive note that I personally have never had that experience. Either on my own or as a couple on here, anyone I've said no to has either just not messages again or thanked me for at least replying.

Hopefully not everyone is getting constant abuse!

That probably has something to do with the fact that you have single males blockedthey seem to be one of the biggest culprits for such wickedness on here

We didn't have them blocked at first & had them unblocked for a while too & in the 4 years of being single on fab I didn't get abuse either. I think maybe I just have an adorable aura that people can't hate on? haha

you must be the second coming of Jesus Christ that alotta folk have been patiently waiting for...you even have the same first name initial! can you turn water into wine? Or feed all of fab with one fish and a loaf of bread?

Thank you Mr Jig some people are lucky I guess.... a wee example most girls have probably had this some couples too you turn a meet down politely then you get called every nasty name imaginable I always take it as a filter cause if they really thought that of me then I don't want to sleep with them or anything for that matter they are not worth anyone's time and clearly just looking for a quickie

I used to politely message everyone who mailed me with a "no thanks" until some men took umbrage to my manners! The abuse I got for being mannerly shocked me.

Now I only reply to men I may be interested in however that's fraught with difficulties too. A few message exchanges to get a feel of things makes some think they're getting a fuck. When I say no, abuse again.

Some people just are abusive no matter what.

Have had to advise mrs to be careful of who she replies to in messages, no matter if said profile is blocked - once message contact has been made messages can still be received, this is one of the only flaws we have came across on site (would rather block = no contact at all), we've been fortunate that no abuse so far but have had some weird/disgusting request & resulting in straight block. Obviously we are all on here for our own reasons/preferences & site should be used to each own individual advantage so don't see any reason that abuse should be merrited from declining any contact.

I don't really get abuse. Just people talking trash if you answer in a way that defies their preset ideas.

Like being told by someone called Tadpole that I'm not kinky because I won't attend some random get together of his. Pft :P

Tends to be single guys who are either politely turned down or because you wont meet at the drop of a hat. I recently explained to someone I was really busy at work and I was off on holiday this weekend.. highly unlikely i could meet pre holiday but would try (turns out I got today off)..before I knew i was off he pushed and pushed and I said no.. toys straight out the pram.. shame I really liked him now all he does is view my profile (took him off my friends and set pics to friends only).. thing is if he spoke i would probably give him a second chance.. ahh well it's a funny old place at times.
