nothing wrong with winking to someone ...it shows initial interest ...if I receive a wink I always look at profile and either reply or ignore .....

I tend to wink at women as a lot never reply to messages, no point in writing a big message when not going to get a reply so I let people mail me. Saves any trouble

I'm definitely a winker. I'm not going to be 1 of the 100 messages every minute that a woman has to filter through. If it's going to happen then it's going to happen

I use the wink button a lot, I think that it's quite a relaxed intro, but having said that it would seem that not a lot of people pay attention to them ??

I think the "Wink Button" is a great tool on here s it allows people to acknowledge your profile and show they like it without a full message....

If the receiver of the "wink" is then of a similar mind then a communication channel can open up between themselves and maybe start some fun....I know it has worked for me that way before

I prefer to wink as stated above ladies/couples get so many messages chances of a message being read is slim.

Can take a while to compose a message so can put a bit of a downer on the whole thing.

If I send a wink then it means I have read your profile and interested.

Hopefully then get one back or a message. If not then at least you haven't wasted ten minutes composing an original message (not copied and pasted)

I'm not a fan of the wink function.

If your profile is of interest to someone and your message is decent, then the chances are, you'll get a reply.

It's not a hassle for anyone to receive hundreds of messages, it's just the moderate inconvenience of sifting through them to get to the ones worth reading and replying to.

I dont mind them. Its just a way of showing interest..... when i was meeting if i got a wink I'd check profile out, if i liked what i saw I'd wink back..... kind of like "ok, message me then" type of thing....

Its folk that wink from a blank profile, just why?..... or they wink, you wink back..... they dont message but not long after wink again?...... clearly not serious about meeting anyone
