Why have I been blocked??

I regularly smile when people, usually guys, complain about suddenly discovering that a lady or couple have blocked them, even though they've never had previous contact with them.

So guys, just have a wee look at some of the posts on my 'Well well well' thread, and you'll maybe get the answer to your question.

Why can't people engage in a civil debate/discussion without resorting to abuse and bigotry. To be quite frank, I find it quite pathetic, but what it does do, is increase the size of my 'Block' list, and I suspect that I'm not the only person to which this applies.

I often find the forums help you decide if you would wish to meet someone or not, although I don't think I've ever gone as far as blocking.

Not read your other thread but definetley agree about people who keyboard abuse instant block when it keeps coming up again and again in my newsfeed, not so much the forums as I don't get involved regularly. Helps with knowing who not to meet.

I have folk bring it up all the time on the forums that I have blocked them lol.

I don't care whos blocked me nor the reasons why.

The site gives you the tools to use as you wish and that's exactly what I do .

But I agree, the forum is a good place to get an idea of people's character but it's not always a true picture

If you're an idiot, abusive, a twat you get blocked. That's why I love the forums, you always know who you wouldn't want to meet after certain topics turn nasty.

While I don't approve of that behaviour, I am reluctant to meet anyone who is very vocal about supporting either of the big two. The amount of aggro that seems to go on between the supporters of both is pathetic and childish, and doesn't interest me.

I believe a lot of ppl read into the typed word more than what is meant and or how its meant as there is no ability to judge tone of voice which usually leads to ppl reacting in a way to a post in a negative way. This actually says more about the person replying and how they took the post over what was actually said in the post itself.

Happens daily on social media!

Saying all that there is never any excuse ot reason for abuse or down right rudeness

Most Guys don't read profiles purely because they are fed up reading arrogant demanding interrogating script.

I do understand your point though.

The Block button is a great feature and it should be used accordingly.

I wouldn't block someone for what they say in the forums, just becuase someone has a different opinion about something than I do doesn't mean I wouldn't like them if I were to meet them.

Seems a bit petty & pathetic to do that

People are free to block for whatever reason looks , sexuality , age , opinions , location my block list is in single figures only those who sent abuse are on it . People who don't appreciate there's at least two opposing views to a subject need to take a breather and relax .

For me, it's the way they put themselves across when expressing their opinion, the way they speak to other people etc.rather than the actual opinion itself. Although there are people who think some ways that I just don't like

All my blocks so far have been single guys who have sent me a message that makes them sound like a twat, a few couples who obviously never read my profile or made demands and a few single ladies who wanted me to fuck there bf/hubby while there away on a business trip or after agreeing to meet tell me there bf/hubby is going to be there to direct or watch.

I've never banned anyone for there comments on the fourm but I would if I really didn't like them based on what I've read. People change profile pics and names from time to time so it would be easyer to block rather than try work out who they are. But like I said it hast happened yet. Xxxxxxx
