Ask for a face pic or phone number?.....when I get chatting to someone on here after a good few messages and when it feels like we're getting on I ask for a face pic or I ask for a phone number. however as soon as I do this then all comms go dark and they never reply back, each and every time this happens.

Not at all,its not blind date. We try and exchange face pics very early in messages, easy to see if there's an attraction early on, and saves a lot of time.

I understand the number part that makes sense I guess. I only message folk that are verified and have a pics so I know kinda what they look like

maybe I'm just a sucker and can't spot a profile that's actually a guy kidding on being a women or maybe they are shy

.....well I hope they are enjoying my face pic lol

It's only rude if you ask in your first contact.

I never ask for either. If it isn't offered,(face pic), the conversation is going no where anyway.

I always like a face pic early on so I know who i'm chatting to and I always send ours in return. I wouldn't give out my number tho so if you have kik then ask people for that you might get more of a reply

There can be varied reasons for this ..fake profile could be one ..privacy could be another and so on ..

Always hold your cards next to your chest ..i would maybe only ask for a number when theres been some chemistry been built up and looks 100% a meet.

i can understand your reasons for asking for a phone number hence it would eliminate a fake profile..bcoz theres feckin loads.

After reading some comments and each to their own .....There wouldn't be a hope in hell in me producing a pic too anyone within a couple of messages ...not unless I'm fully aware in who they are.

Also another reason i wouldn't produce a pic early on is merely the fact ....Looks are one thing ..spending an Evening with a Woman who talks pish is another.

Its not Adult Facebook ..its a Swinging Site for consenting Adults..Your privacy and discretion is paramount ...

I tend to ask for face pics early I don't really want to waste other people's time. I am happy with a thanks ur not my type answer we can't be all each others cup of tea ...not keen on numbers unless I plan to meet up X

It's not at all rude but privacy and discretion are paramount here... however if a few messages are exchanged it does not mean you would meet... but if the woman is not to exchange face pics or phone number then the least she could do is say is not ready to share that information then you can decide to continue chatting or not.

For what it's worth I don't think you are doing anything wrong.

It's definitely not rude. We always ask to exchange face pics at the outset. Would be very awkward chatting for a while and then getting pics and realising there isn't an attraction.

I dont demand a facepic, just like i dont demand guys read my profile, but i am never going to meet anyone without seeing a facepic, women dont ask guys to message them they do it cause they want sex and most people i know have some standards and wont shag just anyone
