Because sometimes when you take the time to reply and say 'no thanks' you get abuse

Last week I went from sexy to fat dog in 5 seconds after I said no thanks to a guy

Woof

We generally try to reply if its a half decent message. But, on here, no reply means no interest. (Mr)

Couples and more so single girls often find their inbox bursting with messages.

The lassies cannae spend all day or night saying "no thanks" - would be like the Forth Bridge.

Get yourself to a social - that way people no you are genuine.

When i first signed up i got over 100 messages in one night.

Lets say 90% of those blatantly hadnt read my profile(proven so by sending cock pics).

Its sad but true that guys vastly outweigh the girls on here - most girls just dont have the time to reply to every single message just to say "no thanks". Best to just shrug it off and move on.

Got a very young guy earlier sent lovely message we replied politely too young no thanks

he went from being polite to obnoxious jerk in three messages because his ego had been bruised by something as simple as a polite no

I think girls and couples get a ton of messages and ya cant answer them all or even read them all, you just gotta keep hang in there

That's nothing the PST 4 days 6 women have mailed me when I replied they didn't read my message? Only 2 of them did, why mail someone just to ignore them?

I've had to advise Mrs not to reply to some messages for the simple reason that once she has replied there is no way of stopping constant messages, even if no interest has been shown, we would prefer to have facility for complete block use-age to stop further contact if things don't work-out or any abuse starts.

I have filters blocking single men, I take them off occasionally but if I send a no thanks it means when I put my filters on they can still message me so it's much simpler for me to just not reply.

Today a single man messaged us, his opening line was "I'd love to send you back home on crutches". I was tempted to just delete but I replied that oddly enough a trip to a&e wasn't very appealing.

I'm not actually sure if he was referring to me or C.

His reply was that it was his 'banter'. A bit weird as an opener, lol!

Lol agree, bit of a weird opening line! We try to respond to every mail but that mail was 1 of the few deleted with no reply!

The rest of his short message was about what he liked, nothing about what he had to offer. Normally I'd just delete without reply but it amused me.

This type of post is brought up every few weeks.

So - as a bit of market research, for 24 hours only I raised a ladies profile. 35 bisexual and looking a couple or single people. I didn't show a photo and didn't contact anyone at all.

Boom - within 2 hours, 270 messages.

I know see where ladies and couples come from.

Some of the pish messages that I received were incredible. I put an age limit of 35-50.

The messages from younger and older were numerous.

I deleted the profile after 6 hours and I didn't reply to anyone.

I won't complain if a lady deletes my message again.

I've been shown the messages - some are just laughable. Some are strange. Some are downright rude and disrespectful. But I guess it's the gauntlet that ladies and couples face daily.

That's why they only respond to people they actually want to talk to.

And yet guys still complain they don't get a response! Replying to everyone would be a full time job, and you can only block 500 people

Well I've learned my lesson.

If I get a non response or a no thanks I just block the person.

Saves me annoying them again in the future X.

No reply just means not interested. Would be a part time job answering every single message. Nobody has time for that.
