Not a Caravan but a Trailer Tent family here (hopefully Caravan next year), we just love to pack up with kids & dogs on on our merry way, best place we have visited last season was Elie Bay (Shell Bay) & planning on at least two visits this year. ??

Thanks for info, had a look but would prob be a bit too far to travel with the Kids (1&4) & the 3 dogs, looks lovely though, hopefully venture further afield once Kids are a bit older.

Gosh, such happy memories of Shell Bay and indeed Silloth which I used to visit every year with my four cousins. We just adored it. I'm filling up here!

If you come back to Elie give me a shout. I'm kind of a local yokel.

Damn.

We were hoping this post would reveal some new sexual position we'd never heard of: "Caravanning. The Daisy-Chain for the new millennium!"

Oh well . . .

East Nuek

We enjoy down Seahouses in the motorhome, are there any known adult sites, or are there any distinctive signs to find nice folk of the same mindset ?

Thx.

We're going to naturist foundation over the bank holiday

Not necessarily for swingers, as it's a naturist resort

However would be nice to meet, socialise and share the bank holiday with like minded couples

Had to have a really good look at your profile.

Shell Bay I took my kids to at least one weekend a month when they were kids

However have very fond memories of Silloth many years ago and especially with a young lady from up your neck of the woods.

Had me intrigued for a wee while there

Aaarrggh caravans!!!! I bloody hate those things. Can't get passed them on a roads and they slow the traffic right down. Should be made to travel between the hours of 2200-0600 so as not to annoy other road users.

Static caravans are a better option

Just looked at prices for a week in a static in Yorkshire. 2 adults, 2 kids nearly £900! Bloody hell, no such thing as a cheap holiday these days! Looks like we'll be staying home
