Mrs is thinking about getting her nipples pierced. Are rings or bars better and how long do they take to heal? Do they get easily infected? Any advice appreciated.

Had mine done . Had bars in. Made my nipples mire sensitive. Never had any problems with infection . Would highly recommend

everyone is different when i (jamie) got mine done they took almost a year to heal but they never got infected, when louise had hers done they healed in about 8 weeks, if you follow the cleaning instructions given by your piercer you should be fine

I had mine done last week Latino.

I am not a great healer so, I took Zinc tablets to boost my immune system, also arnica homeopathy tablets for a couple of days, cleaning with sterile salty water regularly.

No redness, no swelling. The nipple was tender for about 4 days and now after a week, it is looking and feeling good.

I have a bar and this is what I wanted.

Abso love it and can't wait to be able to play about with different jewelry designs.

I used to have one , but swapped it for a new one which started to get infected so took it out. Might do it again one day.

don't do it, she will regret it in the end, and its not really sexual, just a kind of attention seeking thing, keep her healthy and don't have her defacing her body

I've never regretted getting mine done. I am in no way even close to an attention seeker. It made my nipple a lot more sensitive.

I had mine at local place in paisley but good few in glasgow

Mine doesn't show through

Mines were fine when healing no pain at all. Not uncomfortable either

Unsure about milk glands though
