Why is it so hard for folk to hold a conversation on fab? I mean nobody wants to talk about sex 24/7 but a Wee friendly chat never hurt much either,

Or is it just the people I'm contacting that are dull as paint drying ?

Sometimes the chat is just boring... how are you? What you upto? Doing much at the weekend? Hows fab treating u? Fancy a meet?... all that does my head in after a while

Yes mundane chat like that but it's easy to keep a conversation interesting

If you stomp in saying "Fancy a shag", or you try to strike up an intelligent conversation (I know, it's Fab, not much of that about!), you get the same result.

start a good conversational thread then, a good topic for all with a slight education to reply to, rather than a kiss/fuck/snog thread or similar
