Been asked to go away with a friend for weekend. Leaving me to pick is never a good idea.

Looking for ideas, somewhere can spent some quality time but still have things close by if we want to go out and about.

You should have a look on Groupon as there is always good deals for hotels on that with spa deals aswel. hopefully they have somewhere that looks nice for you

Depending if want a relaxing or party weekend .

If relaxing try balmeadowside lodges which are just outside cupar. Hot tubs and reasonable rates at weekends.
