I'll be honest, I've never heard of Black so his passing doesn't put me up or down but I have to agree with SexySpex above, there seems to have been a shocking amount of talent passing over recently.

Especially when you consider that ones that are still here that probably should've gone long ago with their past lifestyles. Ozzy, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Iggy Pop, all of Motley crue etc...

I'd heard about his accident and knew it was serious. I think he'd been in a coma since the accident.

Another wonderful voice and talent gone too early.
