Spectre / Radiohead

Radiohead were asked to do the Bond theme tune for Spectre, and the studio turned down the finished tune.... You can find it on Soundcloud, it's also on heavy rotation on Radio 6 ( it on right now !) Personally I think it's fucking amazing !!!! Can't believe they rejected this for Sam Smith ! What do my fellow fabbers think ?

radiohead or sam smith ? thom yorke could do a fart into a microphone and i'd instantly find it more appealing than Sam Smith .

As I've not heard it I can't really comment.

However, I suspect from a commercial standpoint, Sam Smith was probably a better choice at the time as he will have had more public exposure last year.

Doesn't make it right, but sometimes these things come down to money

Not a huge Radiohead fan but the day a Sam smith song is chosen above anybody else is not a good day.

The guy makes blandness look an art form.
