I read an article recently and it seemed pretty much divided..Therefore i thought i would throw it in here.

Mothers breastfeeding their babies in public areas..

1.Ladies would you agree with it or would yu feel uncomfortable and feel inclined to use a designated area.?

2.Gents would you agree with it or would you feel uncomfortable ?

I breastfed all my kids both in private and in public but was always discreet .

I wouldnt be at all offended if i saw a woman feeding her child in public and to be honest think both men and women would be okay about it too

I breastfed all my children, in private and in public. To be honest I don't give a shit what other people think, if my baby needs fed then I'll feed him/her wherever I am, it's their sole source of nutrition and therefore quite important to them!!

I know it's a controversial subject though, as bizarre as that is, not quite sure how the human race survived thus far.

Doesn't make me feel awkward in the slightest. Have seen it in coffee shops etc. Totally natural.

Absolutely. I would be more disgusted by a person taking an issue with it more than anything else.

Also, I think this is more of an issue over in the US and down in England - both are quite weird when it comes to this sort of stuff. I have noticed that Scotland has more of a liberal attitude to things - even if we do take the piss out of each other.

I think its totally natural and perfectly acceptable.

As a semi side note - I do find it weird when grown men as to suckle/"feed" (for better sense of word!!). All for kissing etc but that's just too odd (Sorry if anyone taks offence!!)

Why on earth would anyone be offended by a woman breast feeding, is beyond comprehension.

Seeing a man breast feed would be horrific and worthy of negative attention.

I breast fed both my children and it's hard work, so hat off to anyone I see doing it. convenient when your out & about, Just find a seat, make sure you have a baggy top or scarf to cover baby & boobs & off you go. It's only a boob & usually the baby covers most of it anyway.

Perfectly natural & I get a bit nostalgic when I see someone breast feeding their baby now.

Becoming something you see more regularly now

I had to stop my 3 yr old grandson staring at a woman one day in the park.

Trying to feed baby and boobs were screaming freedom as my wean is staring

Swear he has his grandas genes right enough

But no as said above if you have a problem then jog on it is the most natural thing in the world. We all need fed even babies

Too true, they don't tell you the half of it in hospital etc when they are trying to push the boob propaganda! Like what Bloody hard work it is & how you constantly feeling like a cow, literally like a milk cow lol.

It's each persons choice.
