Ok so I've been here a while now and still not sure what should be in an opening message.

Ladies what would you like to know in an opening message, as many of you say a hi how are you won't get a reply

Don't want to sound bad but I've sent messages to women and had no reply then had a look on there verifications and seen some of the guys and I'm like wtf I'm nicer looking than him haha

Personally I don't mail anyone on here, the way I see it is if someone is interested in me she'll let me know which has worked fine for me. Every meet I've ever had wasn't me doing the chasing.

On that note I don't think women should make it so hard for guys, there's so many rules they all make up= must be this tall must be vwe I've never met a woman in real like that's so picky about every wee detail, then comes the contagious statuses & profiles I've seen so many women's profiles who's profile text all say almost the same thing word for damn near word. It's like when one woman says something the rest say it on they're profile coz god forbid anyone thinks their a slut or whatever.

Don't see what's wrong with "hi how are you?" Its called an ice breaker, the conversation can start from there.

lol, I hear what your saying.

It's not about nicer looking, that maybe only part of it, there's also your personality, chat, actually many things from the whole package usually works and the message you send just might not be right for the girl at that particular time, you never know. it's just hoping that first message strikes a cord.

I've seen girls with verification from actual assholes that they have met. That's my view of some people form experience on here. Don't get too caught up in it, if you do eventually meet someone on here, enjoy their company and whatever ensue, make the most of it so that the person(s) will want you back again even if you desperately want to see them again.

For me, more often than not I will delete any message that consists of "hi" and our profile says this.

But I will always look at their profile first, there may be something there that interests me, but usually not.

A message consisting of who they are, what they're looking for and what they like about our profile will always get a response, even if it's a no.

To Be honest, everyone is different in their views that much is true and even if you sent the same message to different people you would get different responses either delete no read or some kind of reply.

Then again it depends on how the recipient is feeling and their mood, they might be pissed off with tons of messages that day so the same day you might send a NICE message but they might delete when on a different day they might reply.

Any message immediately talking dirty will get deleted. Same with instantly asking for a meet.

Things we always read:

- messages from people who are what we are looking for (says this on our profile)

- make it clear you've read our profile, it's not a wall of text

- proper grammar and spelling

- respectful

- if you don't have any pics on your profile we'd expect some in the message. We don't expect face pics with every first message but we expect them pretty soon after if we reply

you could write 'hi' or 'hey how are you' to break the ice and often you will be ignored. You could also write something well thought out, mentioning things related to having read their profile, you still get ignored. Just like pof, women on here moaning about all the short messages they get. If a really sexy good looking guy says 'hi' i bet you wont ignore him.

I found that from the people who have verified them a lot of the guys/women don't have any pictures up whatsoever. I found some guys to have a really crap profile where they haven't filled it out properly.

I put a good amount of effort into selecting photos and making my profile sound interesting and still don't receive a reply.

Also, some girls don't have a lot of profile text at all and want you to surprise them when you message. What am I meant to surprise you with when I don't know what you're like?
