Hearing a lot and experienced time wasters. Can this be because it's a free site. If it charged to join do u think most of the time wasters disappear.

I think at least having the option to see every message in a conversation you have would be a good start whether you pay or not, some of the things only site supporters can do seem a bit odd.

they did the same with swingingheaven and a vast majority of decent people left as it wasn't giving you enough.

Right now fab is not helping with the timewasters. its very easy to eradicate a lot of them. I don't know who they employ to work on the site but timewasters can easily be halved down with different coding alone. ip/addresses, location, servers etc...

Also, I always pay to become a site supporter but I don't get everything I want or need. I can see whose looked at me but I know people look at my profile but it isn't displayed because they have opted out. two things, people who don't pay should not have option, (not sure if that's the system yet), also if someone looks but is opted out, I should still be notified that someone looked at my site, weather a couple, girl or anyone else

why ? They support the aite so get extra tools by not supporting you get basic.to answer the op no I dont believe timewasters are any more of a problem here or on a pay site. And im sure the owners of the site are doing whats correct for their buisness becoming a pay site could end up generating less money

Yes true

Even though the owners are swingers, this is still a business for them so they need to work out whats best for them.

I would like to get more for being a site supporter some more offers like lovehoney 10% off one. As a supporter and organisor of events I would love the ability to send group messages would save hours of time . but there's got to be a better way to run site than making it a pay only site just as there's got to be a way of cutting down on fake profiles

One way of stopping fakes is to add an ip filter only being able sign up via a genuine email addy (not Hotmail or gmail) these are to easy to make spam filters are also a good way of ing out fakes ,but I do agree that paying for the site may help not every one has funds on a monthly basis to keeps sub's running

hotmail and gmail aregenuine email addresses and ip filters are very easy to circumvent (most already are without realising it)for what you are saying to emlloy it would mean lots of diffrent buisnesses and agencys getting together and agreeing on somwthing that none of them really want

I'm happy as I am. I pay my £5 every couple of months. Get extra features as a result. Cool.

I agree that it would be good to have the ability to improve mail and bulk message people - however, it would need to be controlled to stop random spam.

I also agree that fakes are a pain but making it a pay site wouldn't really stop them I don't think.

Fab is a good site becuase its free, that's even how they advertise they're site to attract people. Not everyone wants to pay doesn't mean were time wasters. I've had plenty of site members silver and gold waste my time so your theory is out the window at 88mph, left fire tracks on the ground and landed in the stone age where it belongs

change provider you would have to change email therefore making your profile a fake lol only guessing but id guess most folk use either gmail or hotmail or both I dont use my providers email at all

In terms of the benefit of a free membership and a cost-effective upgrade option, I would make no changes to the current arrangements.

There is no such thing as a free lunch and the site costs need to be met somehow, so a totally free site is never going to happen. But keep the free option to attract more members, who will hopefully upgrade to keep the site going.

Being a site supporter does not make anyone more genuine than the next. If someone is so keen to go out their way to mess people about then a fiver may well be a small price to pay for them.

On the other hand there are many many single men who can't even get a reply on here never mind a meet. I doubt many of them would be willing to pay when they get so little out of the site as it is.

Fem, couple or single male it doesn't matter you only get what you put in. Best thing to do is get along to socials and or clubs, we never set up meets through fab anymore its way too much hassle. The fake profiles one is a tricky issue right enough not gonna pretend we'd know how to solve it lol. No matter the topic the people taking the piss will always be one step ahead of those trying to solve the issues.

We never claimed to fully understand

just that we do see many moaning (not directed at anyone in particular just generally) that its hard to get meets. These same people are the ones cancelling at the last minute for socials ruining it for others who can't go cos all the spaces are supposedly full when they really aren't. Its pretty common to read complaints from couples and single fems who organise these events.

There isn't a chance in hell either of us would be here as singles especially me (male). There are some genuinely decent guys on here, we've had the pleasure to meet a good few but they habe a rough time cos the vast majority are idiots.

. Seriously though of course there are time wasters from all groups it probably just seems its mostly single males as they vastly out number all over groups on here.

We've never had a single guy we've liked enough to arrange a meet with cancel on us, purely speaking about what we frequently read on the forum from others.

I've only ever seen one fake profile on here,a single fem with a pic lifted from the web which took me a whole minute to rumble with google reverse image! Reported it n was removed pretty swiftly.

Fakes are pretty easy to spot if you look through the right lens.....I reckon.....(and I could well be wrong

) some folk are so desperate for the profile to be genuine that they're failing to put in place the most basic measures at their disposal......like a fucking 5min chat on the phone!!!!How hard is that?!!!

Yet still read whinging threads by folk that have arranged meets with these fakers only via texts with no phone call!

Yet they still moan about time wasters!

The only person that can waste your time here is yourself and if you're daft enough to meet without even asking to speak on the phone then you deserve to have your time wasted pmsl

This is by no means foolproof but it's ONE step you can take.....I'm sure there are plenty more but it's the only one I've ever needed to do.....not had a time waster yet!

as I said,tis but one measure available.There are many more you could use,the most reliable of which I'm sure you would agree,would be your gut instinct.

The post was aimed at those that don't have such instincts....or just refuse to listen to it.
