I'm looking to buy a video camera/camcorder so we can film some of our fun properly, but not sure which are the best ones.

Not wanting to spend a fortune, looking for recommendations please

Any mobile phone camera is sufficient.

"Any mobile phone camera is sufficient. "

Wrong.

Yeah, technically they can film it but the quality can be appalling depending on which camera you have. Some can't handle low light very well, or fast movement for that matter.

Personally, I've used my camera on the iPhone and found it to be sufficient. I probably should've mentioned it previously.

Go pro's are very good quality, tiny, easy to use, very rugged, and water proof too. Pick a base model up for around £90

GoPro Silver for me and I have used it several times on my mountain bike and motorcycle. Impressive results for such a small cam. Not used it yet for filming any naughty shenanigans but there's always a 1st time.

GoPros are great. You'll need to get to grips with editing software though as all the footage will have to be put onto the computer and edited there. If you have a new iPhone it'll be better quality than any camcorder. .. you just need to get it set up right.

Maybe look at the canon Legria mini if you really want something separate or a Nikon D5200 or Canon 5D if you want a professional level camera that will also take great stills x
