Still a month to go til Xmas and I'm sick of it already.

Songs playing in the shops, Santa grottos, decorations up and we're not even in December. Got to put up with this for another 4-5 weeks.

Anyone else feel the same?

Not wanting to sound like a total Ebenezer Scrooge here as I do enjoy Xmas, but why does everything have to start so early?

Actually no. Normally by this point the shops have been playing Xmas music since September and there's tinsel in your face everywhere you look.

But things seem to be a bit more chilled this year, everything is more relaxed. It's nice

Hate the music, movies and stress but love the cold weather clothing, the warmth of someone as they snuggle into you and the snow. Xx

I quite like christmas. As a fairly big family we've figured out a routine that really works for us so i actually look forward to spending time with them on Christmas day.

I always feel a wee bit sad tho over hearing people discussing with great longing and excitement exactly how much booze they're going to drink. Now I like a skinfull but I feel it kinda misses the point about Christmas.

For by that, I've got my 3 squillion bottles of prosecco stashed - i can only cope with my dear sister in law if im self medicated!

Once every five years would suit me. Then it would be exciting. It comes round too quickly and lasts for about 3 months!!!!

Glad some feel the same as me.

On a more positive note, rather than do a secret Santa at work this year we'll be donating to charity to those who aren't so fortunate at this time of commercial corporate greed.

Generally I'm a "xmas is for kids" kinda guy but I've surprised myself this year by volunteering to help folks less fortunate than myself and its one of the better decisions I've made.

Christmas is lovely for my boys. However I personally don't like much. It's very anti climatic for me.

I embrace the festive spirit for my children I even try to get excited as for them it should be magical.
