Good luck!

I've been going to the gym for 6 weeks, lost 11lbs so far and hoping to shift another 10lbs for Xmas. But I'm feeling a bit better and I enjoy it (mostly), so that's the main thing

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

2 stone by new year is possibly more than you ought to aim for. Safe weight loss is about 1 - 2lbs per week (comes off slow, more likely to stay off)

Good on you for starting though! I love my exercise time, and have really missed it since I had a car accident in June - finally back to it now.

Good on you! I've lost half a stone since April since changing jobs and now do a more physical one. Also lost 2" off my waist. Keep up the good work

Well done!

I'm just getting back into the gym after a severe bout of fat bastard syndrome. It hurts!

I've not lost any weight but changed shape and converted some of the flab into muscle.

I've a long way to go, still nursing a fairly sore injury, but I'll get there. Just about to go to gym now.

My problem is puting the weight on/staying toned.

I'm getting my ass in gear and going back to the gym.

I'm also hopefully going to be doing the great north run next year.

Big congrats on taking first step back into gym but please remember that training is 20% of your weight loss and 80% is getting your diet correct

I wish you luck and enjoy the burn

I've lost about two and a half stones since feb. dropped a couple of dress sizes by counting calories and walking and swimming.

Well done keep it up xx

Me and my other half have got a battle on just now. Whoever can take off more than 6lbs before 5th Dec gets to play solo first.

He's winning xx

Congrats! Keep it up!

I'm losing a little of my motivation to keep up the exercise with work constantly pooping on my never ending happy parade but I'm trying!

Two stone by New year wouldn't be healthy. Look for no more than 2lb a week and do this over a period of months.

Well done though. The biggest hurdle is getting off the couch and through the door. Once that's cracked it can be an amazing journey...

Slow clap for MrsB!

I often wish fab had some sort of exercise thing, 5 minutes in this sex position working your abs and GO.

Now switch to this sex position and work those calves!

Now pin her to the wall and work on upper legs and back muscles!!!! women wrap legs and squeeze the the air out your man!!! gogogogo!

Or just find a workout buddy that would work too.

Good effort mate and good luck! If you get your head in the right place and are determined to stick at it then the weight will fall off you!

I hear that you have another one of your boot camp exercise nights coming up which will burn a few extra calories if last time is anything to go by

bare a thought for us poor injured soldiers! Lol

I'm an ex semi pro boxer an a martial artist.

Since retiring from the fight game all I do is sit around or work the doors.

Had a recent health scare and my GP advised me to lose weight basically or else.

Downloaded Fitbit and bought me a Fitbit watch and started excercising 6 weeks ago.

Lost 2 stone and 4 inches from my waist so far, just trying to tone the rest especially now I've exceeded my target

So to the OP hardest part is motivation, you've beaten that so keep up the good work believe me it's well worth it

Its. All about deadication. Sticking at it. Changing your eating habits alots of the time you mistake hunger. For what is actually your body needing water. Get lots of fresh fruit in and nuts. When you crave sugar rushes.

Well done for starting stick at it. No pain n gain. Plus if you don't feel like a tramp after you training you haven't pushed yourself enough. Good luck.
