We live in glasgow and are looking to go to our first club, we are looking for advice, is it better to travel so as not too close to home?

Depends how discreet you want to be . You need to weigh up convenience with the risk you meet someone you know. There's the argument that if they are there then they are looking for the same thing ... But would it still matter to you being recognised ? We went to Newcastle and Birmingham for our first clubs but maybe that's too. Far

Thanks, we are happy to travel so that might be the better option! I think we would feel uncomfortable if recognised particulary as we will be nervous enough it being our first time

I guess it's always a risk of knowing someone but I can highly recommend cjs for a brilliant night out, especially for first time club night

First time club night sounds like an excellent idea

We went down to blackpool for our first club and can highly reccomend infusions and the mardigras hotel cheap and very clean good bar downstairs walking distance to the club. On the subject of annonimity our first visit to cjs we met dolls work colleague who came over and spoke she's been going to these places for 15 yrs and had never met anyone she knew. So it's just your luck when you go to these places but always remember they are there for same thing

Thanks, I'm not sure how I would handle meeting someone I know especially our first time, nerves would probably get the better of me
