Paris Explosions

Jump to newest

Reports that 2 explosions have taken place and a gunman letting loose in Paris. One explosion in a bar next to the stadium where France take on Germany tonight so no doubt it would have been rammed with people

When will these atrocities that are happening more frequently now end for the people of France

Would appear to be a night of coordinated attacks across the city. Rock concert, football stadium and restaurants, with hostages reportedly being held.

Paris certainly doesn't have its troubles to seek when dealing with extremism.

Truly devastating news.

Closing all borders should've happened the minute they made these threats months ago but did anyone listen? No because they feared being branded racist

You can't close your borders for any length of time and keep a modern country functioning - your economy would collapse.

Anyway very sad news as the cycle of violence seems be getting worse.

I just have no word to describe how I feel right now. Particularly cos one of the area attacked is an area where some of my family go many times to on a weekly basis!! Worrying...

My mum just told me all sport and other gatherings have been cancelled in the country, even small local ones for safety.

Heartbreaking news

actually the same could be said of Christianity....the majority of the muslims in the world( which accounts for a 3rd of the world's population) are not terrorists/extremists ...the problem is when politics is intertwined with religion and human nature and greed

Christianity has been guilty of far more atrocities in the name of religion throughout the ages than Islam could hope to achieve. It extremists that's the problem and Isis have a single driven goal that is unwavering in its violence and path.taken.I don't think they can be defeated and the acts carried out in France will happen elsewhere in Europe

I wonder if this might just be the catalyst to bring the pathetic, spineless, liberal politicians of Europe to their senses? I won't be holding my breath though!

2 words which British politicians aren't allowed to utter; Enoch and Powell. What were his words, "rivers of blood"!!! The man had more wisdom and back bone than most of our current politicians put together.

Just my opinion!
