Well and Truely kicking in.

Reaching for hot cakes, hot soups .

Cosy blankets and socks.

In general can't be bothered with anything.

So what makes you feel good in this brutal weather.

Oh oh how could I forget spooning into a hot man helps to.

I think more people that you think suffer from SAD...To get through the darkness, cold etc of winter I tend to think, focus and plan on the positive times in winter...So for instance focus in on Christmas then New Year and maybe some will focus then on Valentines Day by which time you are nearly out of winter and into spring...Positive thinking..

That's what I'm going to do in a minute. I hate the thought of going out in it but once I'm out I'm fine. It makes me feel great once I'm home and dry

Nothing wrong with hot soups. Make sure you are exercising. Those sad lamps are supposedly quite good, know someone who religiously uses them winter time. Gives off sunlight affect. Also get yourself better you dlux 3000 vitamin d oral spray from Holland and Barrett. Find things to focus on and that you will look forward to.

Few saying about vit d not sure as been out of touch with this for a few yrs (no one in my life affected by it anymore)but my understanding was its the shorter daylight hours and the quality of light (low on horizon) is no good which is what most of our light is during these months

You naturally get vitamin d from exposing your skin to sunlight. It goes hand in hand with light therapy. I take vitamin d in the winter also to help my immune system. Spray works better I find.

Yup its a vitamin spray supplement not a medication pil. That with eating correctly and exercising and light therapy, seems to work for the majority of Sad sufferers.
